Do people still use this term? Do you use it?

I never have, even as long as I have been married. I'm certain I have never asked him if he wants to make love.

Very rarely. There is love involved even when Master has be roped up and with scratch marks all over me so, using 'making love' to refer to vanilla sex wouldn't make sense in our particular dynamic.

I had a girl ride me once, hard, it was amazing, she had these hips that rolled like waves; up and down she went, the grip was ... breathtaking.

She kept asking me, 'Do you want me to make love to you? Do you want me to make love to you?" over and over again ...

finally, I managed to say, "If it means you'll stop choking me; yes!"

At my age, 'Making love' can have a different meaning.

It can be just expressing your love for someone by doing something they'd like to do and you don't e.g. taking her to a theatre to see an interesting play she wants to see when you'd rather watch football.

Or - she goes with me to the football match when she would really prefer to sit at home gossiping with her mates on line.

Both are making love in a sense - making the person you love happy because you have made a sacrifice to give them enjoyment.

I once said "would you like to make love?" to a girl, but it just slipped out.
She was the check out girl at a dollar store and she just ignored it.

I use it exclusively in my new series FUN WITH DICK AND THE KARDASHIANS.

Not using the phrase "making love" doesn't stop it from being a transdedent experience. I've never had a one night stand, or sex with someone I did not have a deep connection with. Still, I have never uttered those words.

 We have a lot in common.

I can count on one hand the number of guys I've slept with. It's always been while in a relationship or with someone I've had a deep connection with.

I get the feeling that we are in the minority around here. Sometimes I'm envious of everyone else. They truly are more experienced than I am.

It sure sounds like it. :rose:

I occasionally wonder what it would have been like to "sow my wild oats", but that's really just not me. I think I am very lucky that I found my fella at such a young age. I never saw myself as someone that would marry young.
