Does anyone else see a glitch under their stories tab?

After about 2 1/2 years gone from Literotica, I've returned under a better author name (was Candlelight062 and is now Catharina_Lit). I've since published a new story (with one romance still pending) entitled Captivated. It's a romance with nonhuman element (mermaids/mermen).

The problem I'm having, and have been having, is that when I go to my stories tab, I see there is a double-posting of the same chapters. I've written to Report a Bug, but after two weeks it's still there. The thing is, they're connected since they update scores and "H" labels simultaneously. This has got to be a bug OR it can be my browser.

Can you please click on this link to my stories tab (https://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=2951597&page=submissions ) and check and see if you're seeing double as well? Please let me know.

If the Webmasters sees this, please check as well. Let me know if it's a bug or my browser or just that I'm seeing double.

Much appreciated!

It's a known bug that was introduced with the series grouping code. When you have an ongoing series and do a title change on one part of it, it ends up creating a second identical series.

It can be fixed, but it requires Manu to go in and manually edit the database, as there are no tools currently to do it more elegantly.

Yes, I have the same thing with my November "The Handyman" series. It didn't change the total entries number, so I've just left it.

Ditto; and, like Pilot, it's not affecting the actual number of stories I've posted, so it's of little real concern to me; I just treat it as yet another vagary of the site and ignore it...

I saw this when I published my Sagas which is a reedit of my Spreading Seeds chapter series. The Saga's show up as part of the chapter series and as the separate Spreading Seeds Saga series?

I PM'd Laurel about it but got no response.

Odd that it works like that.

Thanks all!

I didn't know this was a common bug.

I'm happy to read that it's no big deal. At least, to us. I hope readers won't mind.

Thanks, Reject Reality. I hope it will get resolved. It's a little confusing to

readers. At least, I think it would be.

Speaking of glitches, when I look at the story submit page, the words for the tags are already filled out.

Tags like: female spy, drugged, beauty pageant, fetish model, ect...

Just noticed it a few minutes ago. I tried closing and refreshing a few times, and it's still there. Glitch, or is Lit encouraing more people to fill out their tags?

That's got to be some kind of glitch. Just checked in three browsers and it's autofilling the tags with the same entries on all of them.

Reporting.

That glitch appears to be fixed now. But I wouldn't be surprised if a story came out tomorrow with those very tags. In other words, someone filled out those tags and it glitched to everyone elses.

On the bright side, seeing those tags has kind of inspired me to make a spy story of my own. Maybe for the April Fool's contest.
