Oh goody.

Via Express:

The Prime Minister has come under under fire after the International Development Committee, which is investigating the Syrian refugee crisis, received evidence that ISIS and other Islamic extremist groups were running the camps within the war-torn country, but also in Lebanon and Jordan where the majority of the 20,000 heading for the UK are currently based.

A report by Barnabas Fund, an organisation which helps persecuted Christians across the globe, said Mr Cameron was told there were Islamic extremists within the refugee camps for displaced Syrians in Lebanon when he visited them in September, weeks BEFORE any of the refugees began coming to the UK.

Mr Cameron announced the extended number of asylum seekers in September after the harrowing image of the Syrian boy who drowned trying to get to Europe went around the globe.

The Barnabus report said: “In September 2015 Lebanon’s Education minister Elias Bou Saab told British Prime Minister David Cameron during a tour of refugee camps that some Syrian refugees travelling to Europe were Islamists, adding that this was also the case among those living in refugee camps.”

It added that “recent analysis” of the activity of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) among Syrian refugees in Lebanon found extremists were recruiting refugees in Lebanon.

It said: “While FSA does not seem to actively recruit among the refugees in Lebanon, radical Islamist groups appear to be active.”

The UK is taking 20,000 people from the camps over the next five years, with most coming from Lebanon after the Government struck a deal with the US that America would deal mainly with those in Jordan.

I'm just quoting for seaniepoo.

There are places I don't like to walk though....but not because of Muslim populations. Some parts of British behaviours are sadly not so charming on Friday and Saturday nights, for example. Places I walk happily on Saturday morning I avoid on the evening. Nothing to do with Muslims. Something to do with all of our tolerance maybe? And my cowardice :D. In fact, I think their are high density Muslim populated areas I choose to walk in when I am in London, for shopping and eating. Its been some years indeed since I went to south all, but if would feel no fear, should I? Brick lane area is wonderful ( and suffered great racial minority change in its relatively modern history) , and Drummond street.

Last weekend I met a first generation uk Muslim originally from north Afghanistan. We fell to talking and he said he has almost no problem here with racism, just a little in London, and he met his ( non Muslim) wife here but remains practising himself, but not very strict. His job keeps him travelling and he loves to read, and and we talked about books like the kite runner and so on. We chatted for about an hour. When I left, he ran after me with a gift. I am so proud to live in a country where this man is taken as a man in his own right. An educated, open minded, intelligent and gentleman.

he will cut his wifes head off soon

and yours as well

dont be naive

I remember being told by a buddy to stay in the car when in Detroit late at night in one area of town. Chances are, there are areas in the US where whites shouldn't go at night. And places where blacks aren't liked day or night. Then again no place is truly safe for women after dark.

Better than 25% chance if pusspigshit says it, it is an outright lie. And a 50% chance of it being a total distortion of the truth. 25% left over is just the voices in his head talking. You have to look at the source.

I have had muslims in my circle of friends and family friends through my entire life. My head is still attached. They are all far less extremist than you. None promote hate and violence as you do. If they did, my relationships with any of them would cease. When I look at what you preach and how they speak and ask myself who it is who is commuting the hate crime, who it is who puts people at risk of violence and unrest, I look away from them. There is nothing to separate you from the people you say you hate the terrorist organisations . You are the exact same cloth. Only less persuasive, so arguably less dangerous.

sad

you

are

naive

Sure, but that’s the same in any large city…and nothing to do with Muslims at all.

Yeah I know what you mean, but, that’s all part of the rather bizarre part of British culture to drink until you drop.

The thing is those of us who live here KNOW Trump and Hopkins are outright lying!

Comparatively, the UK and the big cities in particular are very cosmopolitan and tolerant; I think from the above you can deduce that the US is not the same.

Love Brick lane and all the other markets on a sunny Sunday morning.

Woof!

Perfect: ‘You Ain’t No Muslim’ Guy Now Afraid Of Being Killed By Muslims

A British man shouted, “You ain’t no Muslim, bruv!” at a terrorist. What happened next won’t exactly blow your mind.

In my recent list of tropes for the political use and misuse of terrorism, I included a form of argument called No True Muslim. It’s a play on an old form of circular reasoning known as No True Scotsman and goes something like this.

No true Scotsman puts sugar on his porridge.
But my Uncle Hamish puts sugar on his porridge.

Aye, then he must be no true Scotsman.

In the No True Muslim version, “the trope is used by a non-Muslim to disavow the association of Muslims with any negative qualities — particularly religiously motivated violence — by asserting that anyone who commits such violence must be No True Muslim.”
