So I have been having a discussion with some friends online about an issue I am having. I am perfectly aware this is a forum, so I may end up being ridiculed by some people but I think that lit is filled up with mainly good people, so I am hoping this will be a productive thread/conversation.

I am 32, and as i find my birthday approaching I am finding more and more, I am putting stress on myself about being a 32 year old Virgin. I am considering paying for a local escort to assist me, and be my first. It seems my male friends are split on this, some say I should us POF or Tinder to try to give it away, and some are saying just go for it. I am wondering your thoughts on it Lit. The question that is raised by your post, but not answered, is why are you a virgin at 32?

Is it because you do not have success dating?

If so, then that is the problem you should work on solving.

This topic comes up a lot. Personally, I am 28 and a virgin - though I am now in a relationship that is going so well I expect I won't be in about a month's time, if that. (I presume at that point I'll be around this website less.)

I am glad I waited to make my first time with someone I care about. It won't be hers, which I guess is kind of a shame, but at least one of us will know what we're doing. I'm too old to hope for that anyway.

I wouldn't recommend hiring an escort. This is just my opinion, but to me virginity isn't just about the physical act of having sex. It's about shared intimacy, love and acceptance. That's what I've missed the most, so to speak, about not having sex. I don't think that's the kind of thing that you can buy.

It is definitely not a fetish, just unfortunately no way to prove it really being male. I see all of your points, and kinda agree with them about waiting.

As for why I am still a virgin at 32, well there are a number of reasons, most of which are very personal, and I don't really want to share openly on here, as I have in the past, and gotten torn to shreds.
