I'm sure that before this century's end they will have a DNA database of every single human being on Earth.
I wouldn't be surprised. I'm sure it will be healthcare providers and not the government.
Yes, massively powerful supercomputrs will analyze everyone's DNA and determine how much of a "risk" you will be to health insurance companies.
Algorithms based on that information will be used to adjust everyone's rates accordingly.
This would be much more accurate than having human actuaries perform those calculations.
Or you might just be cancelled if you aren't profitable to them.
I'm certain that by the year 2100, full quantum computers will already exist allowing for unimaginably huge and complex computations to be performed that are currently impossible even with the combined power of all of the computers in the current world combined, multiplied by millions.
It could be up to a machine to decide who does and does not get medical care.
It's scary and sounds like science fiction but it's completely plausible. Healthcare providers decide who lives and dies now. I can only see it getting more restrictive and controlling.
Has anyone else done it and if so, was it helpful?

I'd be OK with that if it were ONLY used to identify remains of victims of crimes or disasters.
But we all know better than that, don't we?
I have. I got a B.
Just wait till they put your brain in a monkey body. Then you could make money in bar fights!
I've had them tested twice, once for proof of my heritage and once for the BRCA1 gene. Obviously those two tests aren't the same but yep, had it done.

My cousins had the genetic testing, too. Two out of three tested positive. It runs in my family - two aunts, my grandma and now my sweet, beautiful cousins.
I think about you and your journey often, wings.![]()

I am thinking of doing 23andme, so I can run the results through geneticgenie.
