PC Reaches New Depths

So "undocumented citizen" is an inaccurate term. Would "wetback" be a more accurate term?

PC is polite and considerate. Act, speak and think politely and with consideration for others. And the whole fucking stupid god damned world would be better fucking off!

On one hand "Illegal Immigrant" is accurate, in that they immigrated here illegally. I never considered that a particularly disparaging term, simply accurate.

On the other hand "Undocumented Citizen" is confusing and inaccurate.

If we want a law abiding society shouldn't we require all people to be law abiding?

Well, except for Cheney, who is 'Above the Law" because he's a DICK!

Since "undocumented citizen" is strictly a contradiction, almost anything would be more accurate. This includes "Wetback" which is a person who entered the USA illegally by swimming across the Rio Grande River.

Tell us again how you aren't a racist piece of shit box.

You have quoted me out of context. That sentence was part of a response to Phrodeau, who asked for a definition of "Wetback," which I gave him. If you are going to quote me, please do so accurately. :(

I asked if the term was more accurate than "undocumented citizen". If you are going to quote me, please do so accurately.

Seeing as I've met a number of Mexicans who crossed the river and never a single solitary US citizen who was 'undocumented' I'm going to have to say yes.

Oh no what we call them is the most important thing evah!

Also you've never met and undocumented American citizen because if your speaking legally such a thing does not exist. That isn't to say they aren't out there if you ditch the legal definition.

No it isn't...but it is indicative of how full of shit the left is.

Really? and just what definition is the left using where this works??

Bull-fucking-shit. You're just racist and any chance you can work that into the conversation you'll take it because you're a fucking racist.

Undocumented citizen is wrong. They are not citizens. That requires citizenship. They are illegal immigrants. They swam across a river and entered illegally. Undocumented resident or illegal resident is what they are if they become employed and start families. They are in the country illegally. Nothing non-PC about that. Painting a poor and marginalized population as criminals and rapists because of the criminal element that ALWAYS comes with a poor and marginalized population is not PC at all.

The real question is what to do about them. Millions of them who impact many industries with low wages. You can't round up and deport millions including children born in the country and attending schools! You would have to create a separate police force just to round up suspects. And if Mexico quibbles about taken huge amounts back, where are going to hold them all?

Best ignore the problem. Give the citizenship and even more will follow. Deport them and become like the Gestapo. They fill a niche in low income industry, provide employment for border and immigration agencies and fodder for politicians.

People living within the geographical United States would qualify under any definition but legal.

Sorry I think it takes more than simply being present to be considered a citizen.

I'm just not far enough left to consider showing up with your hands out = citizen.

This whole discussion reminds me of a Three Stooges routine, mostly because no matter how clearly one defines PC and explains its value to society, the stooges all show up to make like they know better. Nyuk, nyuk.

From a legal standpoint your correct.

From patriotic standpoint you're probably correct though I guess it depends on the circumstances.

From day to day standpoint? Pretty much. Do you think ISIS would apologize for blowing them up? Course not. They are dirty infidels. Any invading army would slaughter them just like the rest of us. They are just as (technically more) at risk to be victimized by anybody. They still buy stuff.

I'm not saying we should keep them here, deporting them when it's convenient is a good move. I waiver on if they should get citizenship or not but some legal status would almost definitely solve more problems than it caused. Not that I've really heard you argue that one way or the other.

I simply don't care what we call them and find any discussion about it to be distracting at best.

Mexican nationals are leaving the US in record numbers, far many more than are entering. We may run out of Mexicans, and then where will we be?
