I make these all the time, I think the board gets tired of them. :)

Band In A Box, what is that?

Happy Sunday Pink!

We don't go big for Christmas. G and I fill a stocking for each other. I have done some baking for friends, some business gifts...mainly alcohol. The gift I am most looking forward to giving right now is friends who are returning win their two very young children after a long haul flight, and it am making them a meal so they don't have to shop or prepared with tiny jet lagged people, or after a tiring flight. I am leaving it on their doorstep so they don't have to make small talk, but it means they will hVe to reheat it. Better than cooking when tired though, huh, or eating packaged food? I warned my friend ( and teacher) this was my plan and he was so delighted that it made me very happy indeed.

I also have already made dog biscuits for my dogs and a friend's dogs. One of hers will not see much of 2016, but loves these, so that's a bonus. :).

I know some of what G has got me in my stocking because I chose it. And have the etsy account and we share other a counts too. ;) But I have to wait to 'remember it'. :)

Jennifer won't be getting much from me this year. I just don't have the money.

Band In A Box, what is that?

It's a computer programme he uses for arrangements and rehearsals.

From Wikipedia

Band-in-a-Box is a MIDI music arranger software package for Windows and Mac OS produced by PG Music Incorporated. It was first introduced in 1990 for PC computers and also the Atari ST.

The software allows a solo musician to play along to a computer-generated accompaniment with adjustable tempo, adjustable key, and a choice of musical styles. Original accompaniment with custom chord progressions and melody lines can also be created. Band-in-a-Box basically provides a 'back-up band' for a musician to play along with. It can also be used to simulate an entire band with or without soloists.

Band-in-a-Box (BIAB) can create a background for almost any chord progression used in Western popular music. It can then play that song back using the user's choice of one of thousands of different background styles. In addition to playing back the users' songs with built-in, additional, or aftermarket styles, users can edit these or create their own styles from scratch or from existing MIDI files.rhythm section they use in rehearsals.
