From a realistic stand point yes women have more to fear from Christians than Muslims because Christians are constantly fighting to take away their various rights or keep them from being treated as equals.

According to the FBI we do see gays get attacked. They are second only to blacks in being victims of hate crimes.

So yes in the real world that is who they should be worried about, not some clan of thugs literally on the opposite side of planet with limited ability to reach out and touch you and even more limited ability to target individuals.

Edit: They make up the majority of the second largest group attacked. IT's possible there is another race that gets attacked more than gays the chart doesn't break that down.
