If anyone had told me that I'd be running 2 successful-although 1 of them is tiny- businesses and working my 50 hour a week job whilst sick and trying to figure out my meds I would have thought they were nuts!

It's been working though, and I'm super thankful for it but the cynic part of my brain wonders when it will break. Hopefully never.

My amazing hub sometimes wonders what he got into marrying me, I tend to just keep moving and I'm sure he'd appreciate some more time from me. It's hard to balance it all, but dammit I'm trying.

It helps to have folded the kids into the skincare stuff and the hub into the other business so when we work we are together.

I was just tweeting that I need to establish my companies charity giving practices now, it's time to make sure I'm giving back to honor those who've helped me so much.

I've always been passionate about food shelves in this area, I've had the good fortune to be able to help a few get off the ground. We are close enough to downtown that most forget that the less fortunate can't exactly haul themselves down to Minneapolis to supplement their pantry.

Anyway, I won't get to preaching, it's just always been really important to me.

I'm with you on that. I'm biting my tongue, but I do know both ends of charity work well both the asking for money and having enough to make a difference. Transportation is a big thing the charity I am involved with here is working on now. The joys of grant writing.
