Okay, I KNOW I will catch some flak for this but I just have to complain about. . .the information, or lack of info, people have under their profile section. There are really two things in particular that I wish everyone would enter.
Before proceeding, I will agree that it is the user's absolute right to enter or withold whatever they want! I am only saying, these items might make it a little bit easier to strike up a chat with someone and/or have a better sense of who they might be, etc.
That stated, the 2 items:
1) Your gender. I have read a number of interesting remarks from users in any number of threads and when I check their profile, still can not identify their gender. I say this because often I am trying to "link" their thread observation to their gender perspective.
2) Location. There are countless "cutesy" responses. Would it be so dangerous to put a state, or a fairly specific region. Keep the cutesy one, just add something real. For example:
- Instead of "Your Dreams"
- Write "When I'm not in Your Dreams, I'm in New York."
It's a huge world out there filled with billions of people, getting a little more specifics about where you really live is not going to seriously increase your risk of exposure as a litster/kinkster.
Okay, I am ready for the responses, I think.
