I usually have 2 maybe 3, with a couple extras in reserve for good measure. Usually there is one on my helmet and one on the bow pointing back at me. I have both set to video and take a picture every 5 seconds.

I take most of my pictures against the Windows so the outside light comes into them. If I walk around and take pictures in the house, they don't pop as well. This one, I was on the floor looking up at my sliding glass door.

I'm never near a window where I can get natural light. I know I took a few in the van during the summer but even then, I'd have to be just right to get the light good.

It's always dark now driving in and dark out when I head home. I saw a little bit of the sun yesterday. I few of us noticed the sun had come out and we were all pushing each other out of the way to stand next to that little window.
