I usually post story ideas but this as as much a request as it is a question that hopefully leads to one.

A story about a young girl who likes to, or ends up being dominant. I ask because I take a lot of train journeys and see a lot of attractive you girls. I'm an attractive man and I get a lot if attention. I also see loads of younger girls looking for attention.

My problem is where I turn that to fantasy I like the idea of them being dominant. But at 33 I for some reason imagine it hard to think of a young late teens early 20 ' s girl being able or wanting to dominate.

So I'd like to hear ideas on how that could be made into a story that was real not just an older mans fantasy?

I think part of the reason many young women don't seem to know how to be dominate is because sexual society(and oh, thank you so much EL James) is teaching them that every woman no matter how strong in real life is submissive and only submissive.

This reflects big time here at lit where femdon which in real life is a huge staple of BDSM, but yet here it only does wlel in fetish because BDSM has devolved into male dominate only and a lot of rape porn.

And all sarcasm aside this ideas forum backs me up, the average 'idea' being the woman subjugated in one way or another, or if not, they're just outright cum dumpsters.

So no surprise young girls are not getting shown they can or should want to be on top.

I think teasing him, him being married and trying not to look could cause her to realise her power and that could lead to the domination but as has been said most stories revolve around younger women being dominated and there's not much insight into how much a younger girl would want too or how she would dominate.

One idea as to how she might gain an interest in domination is fairly simple, she found it on the Internet. She began poking about on the various pr0n sites and stumbled onto some femdom. Shocked at first, she keeps coming back and realizes that she likes it.

Perhaps she is an 'ugly cute' girl who doesn't understand her true beauty. Her journey to becoming a domme is coupled with her learning that she is beautiful and desirable.

Of course she could have a mentor. Either an older experienced lady who teaches her the ropes (and chains and whips) or a gentleman. Maybe her first boyfriend likes to be dominated and teaches her to please him in that way.

I like Lair's suggestions. I'm also against the rich bitch scenario. Even though a young dom isn't the norm it's not an unrealistic stretch either. I think many people are wired to either be dom or sub from their genes like some are born to be gay. I don't think it's unrealistic at all that some girls discover at a young age that they are a dom and experiment and explore their leanings. You could start out with an underage girl realizing she likes being in control (with no sex) and when she turns 18 she investigates these feelings or finds a mentor to teach her the ropes. Maybe she takes a college course on sexuality and this is her chosen project for the course. She obviously isn't an expert at 18 but by the time she is 20 she could have mastered the art and gotten several real life experiences under her belt. I can easily see a young girl getting into dominating males and personally find the scenario very hot. It really isn't unrealisric at all, just uncommon.

There's a lot of really attractive young girls in my area, see them on facebook and instagram, late teens to early 20's. Initially that wasn't what caught my attention it was the average looking girls you see on the train or wherever...so was hard to imagine them being dominant because of their age etc.

She doesn't have to be a "rich bitch" to be confident. It makes it sound like your character can't be both kind and sexual, which would make the character's persona fall flat. It sounds like you need a girl who is something millenials call "sex posi" and "body posi". Search these tags on sites like tumblr or twitter and you'll find ideas of the fun, inspiring, powerful and confident women you're looking to characterize.

According to the OP she's not only that, but dominating. But I still don't have an answer to whether she's a dominatrix. Also, her level of good-hearted-ness -- is she fun and inspiring, or manipulating and controlling? No, she needn't be a rich bitch in either case.

That sounds good. I was thinking about an extremely bright and beautiful college freshman on a scholarship to a prestigious uni. Two possibilities, as I see it:

1.The woman is slightly out of the norm (quite dominant) while the man is your average Joe.
(most suggestions seem to have been in this line)

2.The woman is your average Jane (not dominant, even submissive by usual standards).
But the man is extremely shy and inexperienced sexually, which automatically places her in a dominant role.
ie The "geek/nerdy type". Or someone who's more misterious and seductive, like an alien from another planet
(sci-fi story) or someone who lived in a remote or in a utopian, asexual society(dystopian story).

I personally suspect that a male audience would respond to no.1, whereas a female audience would prefer no. 2.

An interesting observation. I like your second idea there, I think it could dovetail quite nicely with my idea of a shyish plain Jane type woman coming into a realization of her beauty and sexuality. It could even work well with an older gentleman.

Shy, timid guy is bossed into marrying his high school sweetheart, she bosses him around for 20 some years, then leaves him for a 20 year old with a leather jacket and motorcycle who she can't boss around.

Our early twenties heroine falls for his sweet gentleness. The only problem is nothing happens on their dates. Her friend convinces her that if she wants this guy, she will have to take him herself.

This probably wouldn't be full on whip cracking "Lick my boots worm!" type domination (though it could go there) more her creating a romantic environment, putting on some sexy silk nearly nothings and telling the guy exactly what she is going to do to him and following through with it.
