He is an investment banker, she is an IT billionaire. After they hook up at a conference, they marry and build a mansion. Because she continues her career, she will need a maid.

Knowing how hubby likes black babes butts, she hires a scrawny white woman, an ex-college basketball player whose career ended after an injury. Even dressed in a little black outfit, the maid is nothing like what hubby likes...

But wife can't stop visualizing fantasies of hubby fucking the maid...

There is one thing I don't get, why are maids always a girl?

Don't answer that I know, men doing the same job are called butlers. Just why doesn't anybody ever get a butler? Especially if the wife is the one picking, I would believe she picks a butler over a maid simply because, she has eye candy and hubby isn't going to be porking the butler. :D

Granted hubby could pork the butler, but then the wife would grab popcorn and a remote control vibrator to watch.

I don't think butler and maid are the same job. But I do like your story twist. The wife hires a male maid, who ends up seducing the husband. And the wife. First separately, and then together in one big glorious Oreo-cookie threesome.

We all know no one would enjoy reading about this...

Real answer? Because sexism and tradition. Maids are still functionally a hold over from before the women's revolution when men would be primarily be doing man jobs (working the fields, soldiering, factory work) and prissy house stuff was for women. Also deals with children and that's more 'girl' stuff. The baby sitter is ALSO going to be a girl by default as is the nurse and to a teacher (at least at the K-12 level). That's just tradition at work.

Though I do agree with my esteemed colleague here that if the problem is not trusting the hubby then the obvious answer is a male and/or unattractive one.

Variants:

* Maid or butler are TG or at least in drag. Could be campy.
* Couple has gone through a series of unacceptable servants.
* Maid or butler are Dom(s) seeking to subjugate the couple.
* Couple uses servants, then sells them into sex slavery.
* Maid or butler are undercover cops investigating fraud etc.

Is it wrong that my inner troll really wants to see what kind of response you get with a rich black couple being dominated by their white servants? I mean dear god I know there are bees in that hive and the urge to kick it is strong. Especially since lit readers are fickle and sometimes bees bring honey not stingers.

I said seeking. Trying. Imagine the servant's surprise when the whips appear.

How'd you come up with those careers, I'm not critiqueing them, just wondering.

Possible he came up with that because both are possible. Blacks are seen as nothing more than criminals, athletes, and musicians because that is all that gets on TV. Don't see it doesn't happen, yet those same people are religious.

I actually presumed it had to do with it speaking to the kind of people they are assumed to be. Obviously you can be a gentlemen and a crack dealer or an evil pediatric surgeon but in fiction your profession is (IMO) an extension of your personality. Otherwise I wouldn't mention it unless it has something to do with the setting itself. I.E. being a doctor means nothing if you're on Scrubs or House.

So this is a highly inteligent couple. . . . actually yeah emap covered it while I was typing. I shall surrender the floor.

The structure is financial-class minorities with lower-class majority servant(s). The story is about who uses whom, and how, and with what consequences. The setting could be almost anywhere, and determines the ethnicities. I could set this in Berlin with Turks vs Germans, or in Mexico with Mayans vs Ladinos, or in England with Jamaicans vs Brits. The dynamics depend on any setting's ethnic tensions. This is fertile ground for exploration.

easy stereotypes that popped into my depraved mind when I wanted them to be both be wealthy, each in their own right, and their own success, not inherited, so they are used to taking what they want.

I'd read that story. If it's well-written, it could bring a lot of praise even if the occasional dipshit blasts it (which is expected anyway.)

I picture one of the couple (or even if it's a single self-made person) who has always been a tough go-getter, a person who never lets discrimination or racism stand in his or her way. As a result, he/she/they are fabulously rich but also well-respected.

That said, they have a dark side - they hear stories about blacks being subjugated (and see it today) and want to live some of it. So their white servants, who are tired of being kicked around by society, indulge this fantasy.

At minimum, it's release for both parties; at most, the servants end up totally owning their rich masters.

TV show sitcom 'Whos the Boss' with Tony Danza where rich working woman hired him as her maid. He had daughter in the show grew to be big sexy actor herself, Alysa Milano. Was that in the eighties?

I rather doubt that.

Let me clarify - in a fantasy setting. That or they just want to submit. Lots of people, especially those of color, feel ashamed of submissive desires, especially to those of other races because of that past.

However, there's one key difference in this case - they get to decide to submit now. And that makes all the damn difference.

There is nothing good about being forced into servitude. There is plenty good about choosing it.
