Obamacare, NOT so affordable after all !!

I'm tired of discussing this stupid law here. You Obamacare supporters are a lost cause. You can carry on without me.

You tell 'em, touby!

Besides, shouldn't you start pimping in earnest your involuntary, universal health-care proposal like the good little wannabe tyrant you are?

From the cited article:

"Since November 2009, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has recommended that cervical cancer screening begin at age 21, the only cancer screening recommendation for that age group. Dr. Jemal said that change made it impossible to compare the total number of women who got screened before and after the health care law came into effect."

Hilarious. You Obamacare supporters are a joke. You'll go to any length to find a way to credit your baby for some positive change in healthcare. But just to make it clear to you, and to anyone else who is interested, I've never denied there are some people who have been helped by this fucked up law. As they say, even a stuck clock is right twice a day. You, on the other hand, seem unable to realize there are many, many people who have been hurt by it.

I'm not surprised you're not man enough to acknowledge the finding.

The study showed the marked increase (8%) in early detection amongst the youngest contingent (21-25) vs the next age coterie (26-34) which was essentially flat.

Because you are not man enough to admit this...or even acknowledge this finding, you cherry-pick a quote at the bottom of the article that says you cannot compare one age group to ALL age groups (apples to oranges), misrepresent it, and declare victory.

I can't believe I'm still discussing this with you, you dumb fuck, but only someone truly stupid could be surprised at an increase in early detection in a certain group after early screening is recommended for the first time in that group. Connecting that to Obamacare is insane.

They are indeed.

Nothing...NOTHING will ever convince them that Liberalism is misguided. Their denial is so deeply rooted that nothing can save them.

Since I'm back in it, it's not liberalism that causes these fools to support Obamacare. Liberalism would would cause them to kill it at the first opportunity, if they had a brain.

No, I shouldn't, because it would be a waste of time.

Not only is it not affordable but it fucked up medical for all the special need persons. Thanks for that!

The law started as a way to give universal health care.To lower the cost of insurance to the masses. After being rejected and reworded over and over and over it has turned into the cluster fuck that we see today. It has nothing to do with liberals or conservatives. It has everything to do with insurance lobbyist and making money. Insurance companies thought that if they could present such a horrible plan that it angered the public that i would be repealed and the idea taken off the table. What they didn't count on was so many people needing any form of insurance that they would take it and run rather than have nothing. They misjudged. Plus many supporters of it were originally told it would be like the universal health cares of Europe and Canada. All of which work. This crap they have here is not only over priced but hurting the indigent. Thank the issurance company lobbyist for this mess!

No, the genesis was conservative.

I'll agree with you only to the extent of those poor folks who live in states that opted not to accept expanded Medicaid got the shaft, but that's not the fault of the ACA.

I cannot think of a single instance otherwise where the indigent were "harmed" by the ACA, and I challenge you to provide examples to prove me wrong.

You have no clue how much of politics happens behind close doors. This had nothing to do with conservative or liberal. It had everything to do with money, greed and desperation. Liberals being desperate to get anything to past, conservatives lining their pockets with lobbyist money and insurance companies not wanting to loose half their profits. Lots of people are to blame for this mess. Not just one or two. The political world is not black and white as many think it is. It's like only blaming the hit man for killing a person. The person who ordered the hit is just as culpable.

You're right about the process, but I was speaking of the genesis, not the whole process of how the law came to be as it is. Here's a take on the subject:

"The Heritage Foundation disowns its baby"

I think the idea was always that it would start paying for itself when they can finally fine people and businesses for not having it, because the fines are actually cheaper for people than obtaining the insurance in a lot of cases. It's own success is tied to it's failure.

The general idea was a good one. Once it was pushed through the sieve of the political system it became warped into the mess that it is.

We disagree. I don't think it was ever a good idea, and should have died in utero, so to speak. I'm in favor of the more liberal idea of Medicare for all. General welfare supported by taxation.

*facepalm* Universal health care is universal healthcare. The name does not change the intent. Call a rose a rose. Weather it's Obamacare or Medicare. It's universal health coverage we are discussing. think of it as different flavors of ice cream. They are all ice cream just different colors and flavors. Still are dairy made. Still by definition ice cream.

There is absolutely nothing universal about Obamacare. Never was, never will be. Wasn't ever in the plan.

You know what. NVM. You have this idea of what is in your head and I don't have the time to or patience to deal with it. Have a great day!

only by stealing money from the hard working Americans can we give people like RubitDownSouth free obamacare
