I assume the setting is a time before security cameras. Modern surveillance would likely detect young women shoving objects up their nethers. So we're pre-VHS, probably mid-late-1970s in USA. The thieves will not be inserting phones and cameras etc. A Uher tape deck would probably be the limit.

I like that the clerk realizes the thieves have a good program. Do they recruit her? Does she join forces with them to learn their tricks, then go off on her own? Do the women continue for years, marry, have families, and raise their daughters to stretch their orifices?
