I noticed that a minority of GBers have this odd habit of accusing certain posters (that they don't like) of being "males who are impersonating women".
- This has nothing to do with confusion re one's gender, imo. Why else would they continue relentlessly with their "accusations", despite evidence to the contrary, and when none of the accused seems to be even remotely interested in sexual or romantic liaisons?

It's all about having a license to harass and insult:
- Men worry that, by trolling a woman, they would risk coming across as misogynists or sexual perverts.
- Women worry that they might appear catty, if they turn against their own kind.

I think it's more of an anglo-saxon thing. Many of my imigrant friends noticed that here you
are much more likely to be attacked by a woman, whereas men overall tend to be v. considerate towards the opposite sex.
In other parts of Eu, the bashing seems to be more equal opportunity (nothing wrong in that, imo), and women are kinder towards each other.

The whole "pervy female impersonator" obsession did'nt quite make sense to me, for a long time.
First, of all, how many dudes did that Ken (Karen Kraft) guy have cybersex with, for them to be so obsessed with him? Can't be more than 10 men.
Then, even if, let's hypothesize, Ann and I were men, what danger would we pose? Nada. Because we don't engage in any "erotic exchanges".

But after reading your message, I just realized: What else do Ann, you and I have in common?
We're all quite firm in our beliefs, and we all challenged certain parties. And, regardless of their own gender, those parties don't like to be challenged by women.

My list of suspects has 2-3 people at the moment. So I compilled a list of several of it's comments, in the hope that it's posting style and preferred targets might be a givaway as to it's identity.
