Editing and Apple Pages

I have received a document to edit that was originally written using Apple Pages on a Mac. It was converted to a MS Word docx so I can work on it. As neither of us has worked this combination before I made my changes as normal using the edit tracking on the first page and then sent that back. Unfortunately even though Apple Pages can read it, the changes and comment are not showing.

Has anyone tried this before and is there a simple workaround or would it be simpler to use plain old text.

Any thoughts please

I he's not used to tracking changes then he might need to do something to turn on tracking in Apple Pages.

I've not used Apple Pages, but that was once a common problem when working between Word and Open Office.

Unlike in Word, Track Changes in Pages is found in the Edit menu. Turning it on puts a toggle on the menu bar of the document, making it easy to see and access. That may be the issue, as NotWise suggested.

Thanks,

I will pass this on and see what happens.
