Have you ever watched WWE?

Two or three times. First time to see what all the hubbub was about. It was boring as shit.

Second time to give it a fair shake, maybe it was just an off evening the first time... Nope still boring as shit.

Third time recently because people promised it had gotten better in recent years. And it had gotten even more boring.

I don't get it. It's not sports, and it's total wank as entertainment.

No.

Have you ever partipated in a thread?

They are athletic but it is not a sport not WWE or WCW or whoever.

When I was kid I used to tear my eyes away from my babysitters long tanned legs to watch wrestling from Calgary on CBC. She let us stay up an hour after bedtime.

Gene Kiniski ruled. Saw Andre the Giant way way back for the first time too. "Midget" wrestling was close to todays acrobatic performances. They may be the true inventors of modern "wrestling.

I have a client who is a BIG WWF fan. He watches it continuously so I by default watch it. I have brought him to local "professional" wrestling matches. It really can't be called a competitive sport, but these are some of the most acrobatic and athletics moves I have seen anywhere at these events. Made me wince and scream..

They all add 4" and 50lbs but still pretty big individuals jumping around and slamming down into things. You have to have some strength to lift Andre the Giant over your head. I was cheering for the Giant during that match. From seeing him on TV as a kid and being Bigfoot on The 6m$ Man.
