Read this on Slate this morning, and well, I suppose there might be a plot bunny or two, but also -- this woman took her revenge to some definite extremes...

It's an excerpt from a book about historically bad breakups and focuses on a Russian empress who decided that if she couldn't have love, neither could anyone else and she'd make them as miserable as possible and she was pretty creative.

I seem to remember reading about a modern Hotel made of ice.
It's inside the Arctic Circle (northern Sweden).
