Wow, Mizzou Student VP: 1st Amendment Creates ‘Hostile And Unsafe Learning Environment’

Via Mediaite:http://www.mediaite.com/tv/mizzou-s...ates-hostile-and-unsafe-learning-environment/

While most people were following the story of the University of Missouri media studies professor who bullied a student journalist in several viral videos, the school’s student body vice president had a blunt response for journalists who claimed their first amendment rights were being violated.

Mizzou student body VP Brenda Smith-Lezama spoke with MSNBC about the declared safe spaces and why students (and some faculty) were trying to keep reporters out of them. When questioned about these “teachable moments” — with the caveat that “the cameras are going to go away soon” — Smith-Lezama said “journalists… cannot approach these situations with hostility and anger as it only escalates the situation.”

Dean Of CA College Forced Out, More Colleges Affected By SJW ‘Maoist’ Purges

They’re also trying to force out Dr. Carol Swain, who dared call them what they are.

Via Fox News:

Chaos swept over college campuses around the nation Thursday, as the ousters of the embattled University of Missouri system’s president and chancellor earlier this week were followed by dozens of other student protests calling for more faculty and staff heads to roll.

A popular professor at Missouri said he resigned Wednesday after students lashed out at him for pledging to give a scheduled exam amid spiraling protests, but the university said Thursday it rejected his resignation.

The Dean of Students at Claremont McKenna College in California, Mary Spellman, resigned in a letter to the community Thursday, after some at the school called for hunger strikes over what they perceived as a lack of support for students of color.

Students at Ithaca College in New York, Yale University and Vanderbilt University in Tennessee were also calling to ax administrators, and even more campuses were pledging solidarity with the burgeoning social justice movement.

University Does Away With ‘Homecoming King’ And ‘Queen’, Replaces With Gender Neutral Terms

San Diego State University has axed its longtime tradition of naming a homecoming “king” and “queen,” and this year will go with the gender-neutral term “royals,” the Daily Aztec campus newspaper reports.

As recently as last year SDSU named a homecoming “king” and “queen” during its annual football game, according to the university’s website. But this Saturday when the Aztecs take on the University of Wyoming Cowboys, the Royal Court will end up with the “final two Royals,” the website adds. It’s unclear if those final two “royals” will be one male and one female, or some other iteration of the LGBTQAAII spectrum.

“During the application process, candidates were allowed to select gender-neutral pronouns to identify themselves,” the Daily Aztec campus newspaper reports. “These gender-inclusive pronouns aim to dispel the common gender binary of categorizing people as solely masculine or feminine.”

Not all students are happy with the changes.

Melissa Click's Resume Is a F***ing Parody

Milo Yiannopolous wrote about this yesterday, and I linked that earlier today, but seriously, this is a joke.

Woody Allen used the line "I love being reduced to a cultural stereotype" as a joke in Annie Hall. For Melissa Click, it's a life motto.

Behold: The professors teaching your kids, and getting paid good money to do so.

1. "Graduate Certificate in Advanced Feminist Studies, University of Massachusetts-Amherst"
Wow, a certificate, you say? In "advanced" feminist studies, to boot?

The ground zero of Clicks activism. While officially a communications professor, she also made the effort to get an additional credential, not just in womens studies, not just in feminist studies, but in advanced feminist studies. A quick online investigation suggests this exact program may only exist at UMass-Amherst.
Then of course come the "studies" in TV shows, movies, and pop-froth books which are ironically called "novels."

2. 'More drinkin', less thinkin', fewer teeth, and beer: Representations of class in CMTs My Big Redneck Wedding"
...

3. "Fifty Shades of postfeminism: Contextualizing readers reflections on the erotic romance series. In E. Levine (ed.) Feeling Feminine: Popular Culture for Women in the Early 21st Century."

Sadly, this book chapter has not yet been published, so the masses will have to wait to learn about Clicks critical post-feminist insights on 50 Shades of Grey.

4. "Saving food: Finding the politics of the everyday in food preservation. Environmental Communication, 4, 301-317

Here, Click manages to spend 15 pages describing how the act of canning food can help destroy capitalism.https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CTpPp0cW4AE852P.jpg

ANALYSIS: TRUE. Alan Dershowitz Goes Off on PC College Culture: ‘the Fog of Fascism Is Descending.’ “It is free speech for me, but not for thee. Universities should not tolerate this kind of double standard… If you’re going to be a college administrator or a professor, if you have tenure, you have to speak back to the students, you have to call these things what they are: double standards, hypocrisy, bigotry, McCarthyism, and the fog of fascism is descending quickly over many American universities.”

Its 1968 again. I was there when the kiddies rioted in Chicago at the Democrat Convention as I passed thu town on my way to Vietnam, August 1968. All the kiddie shit stopped after Nixon shot them down at Kent State. But they were everywhere, like roaches, for a while. Now they run America.

NOAH ROTHMAN: A Plague Of Racial Hoaxes On College Campuses. “The incentive to invent episodes of discrimination is basically a form of Munchausen Syndrome; one that is exacerbated by the press that routinely doles out the attention that these hoaxers so desperately seek. The dangerous idea that someone who alleges they have been the victim of bigoted or sexually discriminatory violence has ‘the right to be believed’ — a notion irresponsibly lent credence by no less a figure than Hillary Clinton — has nurtured the idea among students that they can get away with these fabrications.”

For $40,658 a Year, Your Child Can Learn to Play Dead on a Quad

https://ladyliberty1885.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/111015-ithaca-die-in.jpg?w=300&h=260

Last night I tweeted out that for $39, 532 a year, your child can play dead on a college quad. 111015 Ithaca Die In

I was talking about Ithaca College students, who held a die-in on the quad in ‘solidarity’ with University of Missouri students.

I apparently missed a rate hike put into place this past Spring.

Your child can now lie on the quad ‘in solidarity’ like an idiot for the bargain price of $40,658. If they live on campus, that bargain price jumps to $55,332.

Parents were told about this ‘responsible hike‘, emphasis added.

For 2015–16, Ithaca College tuition will be $40,658, a 2.85% increase from the previous year. For students who live on campus, standard room and board will bring the total cost of attending Ithaca College to $55,332. At 2.73%, this increase is also a historic low.

In a letter to parents announcing next year’s charges, Ithaca College President Tom Rochon noted that the college has taken numerous steps to ensure fiscal responsibility. These include the initiation of a zero-based budgeting process and a Strategic Sourcing initiative to guarantee that the college is fully leveraging the value of its annual purchasing volume.

Carly Fiorina would be pleased to see zero-based budgeting going on.

“2.73% is a historic low”? Is that like the previous year’s hike that was “the lowest” since 1965?

For 2014–15, Ithaca College tuition will be $39,532, with charges for the standard room and board plan at $14,332, bringing the total cost to $53,864. The 2.95% tuition increase is the lowest since 1965.

Oh look, it was the lowest hike again in 2013-14:

For 2013–14, Ithaca College tuition will be $38,400, with charges for the standard room and board plan at $13,900, bringing the total cost to $52,300. The 3.8% tuition rise represents the lowest rate of increase since 1969–70.

And 2012-13, which they recycled from 2011-12:

For 2012–13, Ithaca College tuition will be $37,000, with charges for the standard room and board plan at $13,400. This 4.71% rise in price represents the smallest rate of increase since 2002–3.

And 2011-12:

Ithaca College tuition next year will be $35,278, with fees for standard room and board at $12,854. This will bring the total cost of attendance next year to $48,132, an increase of 4.76 percent. This represents the smallest rate of increase since 2002–3.

I’m embarrassed for these kids parents. You failed. Not once, but three times.

The first time in paying for a school that costs more than most people put down when buying a house.

The second time for not raising Cain when that school kept hiking rates.

The third was for not getting in the car, yanking your precious, idiot snowflakes back home and hiring a cult deprogrammer.

Better yet, make them watch the news and see how while they are crying about their ‘safe spaces’ being violated, Europe is basically being invaded and their cultures are actually being erased.

Thought Criminal Unveiled During Collegiate Tantrums

This girl doesn’t get it:

An Asian student at [a] private California college was silenced Wednesday by students in a “safe space” after voicing her belief that individuals shouldn’t be judged by race, but instead by the content of their character.

The scene unfolded at Claremont McKenna College when the unidentified female student stepped into the circle to express her opinion.

The woman told a story about how she was discriminated upon when she first came to the U.S. for her trouble speaking English. She recalled a moment a black man once told her to “go back to your home.” She said a “white lady” then checked on her to make sure she was OK.

“The point I’m making here is we should not distinguish people by their race or gender or anything. Black people can be racist!” the student said.

Almost immediately, a black female student confronts her and seemingly tries to stop her from talking as audible groans and murmurs are heard in the background.

“I just mean that we have to look at people individually,” the Asian student continues as the students turn against her.

Eventually another student takes the megaphone from the Asian student who leaves the “safe space” appearing a bit distraught.

Black people can’t be bad; white people can’t be good. This isn’t about judging people by the content of their character; what leftist would want that?

What it is about is seizing power from a decadent ruling class too rotted away by liberalism to resist and using that power to loot and destroy the civilization built by their superiors.

Profiles in Infantile Ivy League Moonbattery: Jerelyn Luther

Remember this appalling incident?

The infantile harridan shrieking at a professor because he failed to protect her “safe space” by supporting absurd P.C. restrictions on Halloween costumes has been identified:

The infamous “Shrieking Girl” at Yale University who now famously berated a professor for not making Yale a “safe space” is from a relatively privileged background and has been frantically moving to delete her online presence, an investigation by The Daily Caller News Foundation reveals. Also, despite shrieking “Who the f*** hired you?” in the notorious video, it turns out the student herself played a role in his hiring. …

The Daily Caller News Foundation has independently confirmed the student to be Jerelyn Luther, a senior at Yale.

Jerelyn has gone into online hiding, having deleted her LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook pages. But information about her can still be found.

Besides the obvious privilege inherent in being able to attend Yale, one of the world’s most elite (and expensive) universities, Luther also hails from the wealthy, low-crime city of Fairfield, Connecticut. Her family home isn’t luxurious but has an appraised value of more than $760,000. …

Luther actually served on the search committee that chose Christakis as the master of Silliman College. So, when Luther screams “who the f*** hired you,” the answer is, in some part, herself.

Odds are slim that a woman of identical aptitude and character who was not blessed with non-white skin would be attending Yale. Thus the shrill concern with issues of social justice.

University of Missouri Appoints Black Man As Interim President….

460x

Just a coincidence, I’m sure his race had nothing to do with it.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — The University of Missouri’s governing board has appointed a recently retired black senior administrator from its flagship campus to be the university system’s interim president.

The Board of Curators named 68-year-old Michael Middleton on Thursday to lead the four-campus university system until a permanent replacement is found.

Middleton takes over from Tim Wolfe, who resigned Monday amid student-led protests over his administration’s handling of racial complaints. The Columbia campus’ chancellor, R. Bowen Loftin, also announced Monday he would be leaving his position at year’s end for a new role at the school.

Middleton retired as deputy chancellor of the Columbia campus in August and became a deputy chancellor emeritus. He has been working part-time to assist Loftin design a plan to increase inclusion and diversity on campus.

Ain't tolerance hell?

;)

But what about the white women and children?

Simple! You just don't lead them as much! GET SOME! GET SOME!

Trump: Mizzou situation “disgusting … their demands are crazy”

Fucking radical white right-winger...

:)

If these colleges were not run by Liberals, those students would be expelled.

~~tee hee~~

Instead, the white Liberals who wound them up, are, in fact, being expelled.

Is this not what they call poetic, even cosmic, justice?

Is that a NASCAR joke?

:D

These kids have no idea of what a draft is...

To them, that is an open window in their "safe" space that might let ideas in.
