My personal view in this debate:



In a tiny peripheral way, I am with you on this one.
Feminism was a very useful movement in the beginning, when women were oppressed and in need of more advocacy. It's readings also give great insights into certain issues like oppression of minorities in general etc. And it was quite moderate and less flaming.

But, imo, like many ideologies over time, it Can become radicalised. Like Some (only some, not all) radical feminists who keep foaming at their mouth about the evil of the male gender. As opposed to just concentrating on making things better for women who are still oppressed.

Moreover, society has changed and men tend to be now the gender who's facing more anxieties:

And also, let's not forget about the issue of many black men in the US. If what I read on the net is true, they are facing adfitional problems, lik. subtle discrimination on job interviews, stigma ie being perceived as dangerous etc. even if they are the opposite etc.

BUT
In saying that: I only criticized Radical Feminists. We still need feminism, because there still are pockets of oppression in first-world countries.

To be truly equal we need kitchen counter manufacturers to raise the height a bit. I'm sure the height has not changed since days women expected to stay home and cook. Being taller men should have slightly higher counter tops. My back hurts bad stooping over washing dishes. Not very ergonomic for those approaching six foot.

On the other hand, I keep hearing these horror storie. (from my many Eu friends who have left relatives behind) about some antisocial acts performed by some young men over there.



And as immigrants, a lot of us know the phenomenon: Au, NZ and americans giving the Eu lessons in humanity. (It's easy to "be kind" when it doesn't affect you).

But, hah!!
