I appreciate posters who can make me laugh, and make me think. I'm drawn to people who are genuine. I don't have much time for those who think only of themselves.
And I like boobs.

I have a couple of those...round here somewhere... 💋

Dislikes:

Internet white knights. God they are the worst and they're so lame. So incredibly lame.

Drama queens who are always posting passive aggressive shit. That's lame.

Like Smileygirl said, the woe is me, Eeyore types. Also lame.

Meathead, misogynist types who think that they are alpha males or dom types.

Intelligent types who clearly live in their mother's basement. They speaking condescendingly towards everyone because they don't have the same IQ as they do, yet they live in their mother's basement.

Guys with dicks in their avatars.

Likes:

Anyone who can make me laugh.

People who are genuinely nice. Think BlackCashmere. Smileygirl. Papa Chained.

Sarcastically funny people.

Girls with boobs in their avatars.

And sometimes there are people who just draw you in. It doesn't happen a whole lot. But it does, occasionally. And those people are the best.

I still feel too new sometimes to post in these threads but I am being brave today;)

I like 'em smart with a good sense of the haha (that goes for both men and women posters)
If you make me laugh and seem genuine..I dig that.
I don't much care for cruelty though, be sassy, be sarcastic but to be cruel for the sake of it? That is completely unappealing to me.

Exchanging messages with someone who answers thoughtful questions with thoughtful answers, and with some wit and humor!

Well...sounds to me like there are several like minded people about today...I appreciate the honesty, humor and non-judgemental flow of this thread... Just my 2 cents...for whatever it is worth. :)Happy weekend all...I fully intend to get my YaYas out... :nana::catroar::p:eek:

What kind of posters do you enjoy? What kind just get on your nerves? What kind intrigue you?
I particularly enjoy posters who give me the impression that I'd get on with them as a friend in real life. That covers quite a lot of ground, as my friends are rather diverse. The essential point is that I need to be able to offer something to them, and vice versa.

One of the great things about Lit is that it's possible to discover common ground with people with vastly different backgrounds and life experiences. As I'm not looking for hook-ups, I'm open to chatting to anyone in my quest for meaningful connections. That's not a precise goal: it might involve compatible senses of humour, instant empathy, shared values, a meeting of minds, or the ability to offer mutual support. Whatever it is, though, it must include human warmth -- "cold fish" do nothing for me (regardless of whether or not they have boobs).

I try not to let other Litsters get on my nerves. I used to want to get on with everybody, but experience has taught me that's an impossible dream. Now, I just find myself indifferent to those who offer me nothing worthwhile to connect with.
.

People who complain about other people get on my nerves.

damnit! now I'm one of them...

I hear that. Complainers are the worst. Fucking hell. Debbie downers can be such a wet blanket. Life does shitty stuff sometimes. Being down about it only makes things worse for YOU and EVERYONE else.

I dunno, there's something kinda hawt about humorless a-holes who are cruel just for the sport of it. And if they also happen to be ultra-conservative, PM-aggressive, judgmental AND hypocritical?

*swoon*

Happy Saturday. There are a lot of different kinds of posters here on Lit.

Guys:

You've got some that lurk on those "would you like to fuck those person threads" just waiting for a girl to post so they can make them swoon with the knowledge that they would fuck them. You've got the annoying attention whores (not me). You've yot the delightfully charming attention whores (me). There are creepers, nice guys. "nice" guys, Internet white horse guys, funny guys, dickheads, meatheads, intellectuals, untouchables, charmers.

Girls:

There are many species of girls as well. Drama queens. Girls that fall in love at the drop of their pants. Sweethearts. Girls who are actually guys. Cliquey girls. Fun girls.

Obviously that isn't all inclusive. But you get my point. What kind of posters do you enjoy? What kind just get on your nerves? What kind intrigue you?

I like litsters who have a sense of humor. They are kind. Not fake.

I dislike those who are continuously woe is me, douchey, one way on the board and different in private.....like all about you in pm, but all about every other shiny thing on the board, fakes, assholes.

Having said that, I have friends who have some of those personalities, but, I have gotten to know some well outside of here. Sometimes, what they show here isn't truly who they are outside-just partly who they are. lol

I can't give you an answer because each person is a unique combination of things. What I might not like in one person might strike me as quirky or endearing in another. I don't banter much on the threads. I am not the quick, witty, snarky, sarcastic poster. Most of my friends are the pm convo sort. I will say that in my seven years here there are only 3 men on here that I have misjudged for one reason or another and really don't care for. As for the women, There are a few who I really don't care if I get to know. One I really avoided, but now that I am getting to slowly know her, I am really liking her. (Yes, if you are reading this, and you think it is you, it is!)

Jumps in. Time for a little infusion.....you can decide of what ;)

Curious, how many times have you seen something that has spurred you to act? For example, seeing someone homeless and decide to go help at a shelter. Or have an interaction with a mentally disadvantaged person and give some money to the service that helps them live more independently. Or learning that a friend is sick and donating to help fund research for a cure.

I'm not asking about general philanthropic actions but those times when you were motivated to act.

I know it doesn't seem like it, but ... I usually can't stand seeing someone who needs help and no one is lifting a hand to do so. I may not do it in a large scale, but I'm apt to want to bend over backwards for a friend in need. I sometimes find myself in a messy situation, but it breaks my heart to see someone in pain. Whenever a homeless guy approaches me and asks for money, you can bet that I will be pulling out my wallet and handing him some. A little goes a long way. In my opinion, the giver makes a difference and paying it forward has never hurt anyone.

When drama unfolds, do you tend to avoid reading it? Do you read in silence, like a bush masturbator wanks in silence? Or do you read it, get in and poke the bear?

I haven't had the time to spend on Lit like I used to. I miss a lot of the drama and I'm really okay with that. I'd rather read the threads that I enjoy than waste my time on useless drivel.

I enjoy reading some threads and some just get on my nerves. The posters I enjoy are the ones who are witty, thoughtful and have something to say. I may not necessarily agree with everything that is said, but then again, isn't that life? I even enjoy some of your posts, Pmann. I think some of your spelling needs some work though. It's honor, not honour, but hey, I'm not going to squabble over some typos. ;)

What annoys me are those posters who create unnecessary drama, provoke others just to get a rise out of them and attention seekers. For what? It's the internet people, no amount of threatening the other person behind the screen is going to accomplish anything.

The ones that intrigue me are the ones who have a sense of humor, thoughtful and sometimes, sarcastic as I am by nature.

The rest ... *shrug*

Lemme get my Trump hat on and I'll tell you why you want to fuck me.

Whazzzzzup, Lady Dogs!!!!

Happy Sunday morning. I'm very fond of my alone time. However, I get almost zero alone time. Some people thrive on being around others and being social. I do not. I don't need lots of people. I need my few close friends and family. I don't need the masses.

What kind of person are you? A loner? A social butterfly? A mixture? What did you get the most of- alone time or people time? Do you wish it was different? Do you like the mix? Or do you wish you had more of one and not the other?

I hear that. Complainers are the worst. Fucking hell. Debbie downers can be such a wet blanket. Life does shitty stuff sometimes. Being down about it only makes things worse for YOU and EVERYONE else.

This type of Litster is the worst.
I may, or may not have accidentally told (a person like this) that I thought that way...... it didn't go down too well.

As for the rest, I'm not commenting. I believe in everything most people have said, and agree with the majority. However, we're all different. We all see different qualities in different people.

I might say that I detest a certain quality in a poster, and someone on this thread could find it hugely hypocritical. Conversely, I might see negatives in the nicest of posters. It's all down to interpretation. We can't be all things to all people. Each to their own blah blah blah etc.

This is all getting a bit negative for my liking.

I like posters who make me smile. Sarcasm. A dry sense of humour. People who aren't easily offended (because some people get all emotional when you call them a cunt). Posters who don't take this all so seriously (because it's not meant to be, people!), and - most importantly - those who post cock-sucking GIFs. :D
