I'm a new author. I've submitted only two stories, but I intend to submit a lot more.
One thing I need to know: The title of one of my stories references a certain song. Do I have to add copyright information? The only reference is in the title, and there's no other reference to it anywhere in the story.
I need to know because I put a lot of effort into the fucking thing and the last thing I want is for it to get taken down.

Titles can not be copyrighted. Referencing the title of a song, book, film, game, etc has no copyright implications. Don't worry about it.

Good to hear. While I'm here, is there any way I can change that little message under my name? I'm new to forums in general, and am not happy with the first hint to my identity being "Virgin."

What if the title of my work is a line from a copyrighted song?

Happens all the time. A simple quote is fair use and I can find scads of published books, stories, songs, and even bands named after a line in a book, story, or song. Don't sweat it.
