SFX incredibly executes another certified banger

I play the game and have since beta...

But I don't think I'm gonna catch this in the theaters...

I think the only movie I've ever seen based on a game that got it right was Final Fantasy's Advent Children.

Might see some gear I covet though...

"Sylvanas Windrunner...can my hunters borrow your bow?"

I now wish I had kept up with this game, but I was always partial to StarCraft over WarCraft, even though my love of both genres of sci-fi and fantasy adventure are more or less on equal tier.

See, if they get something wrong in translation, I don't know enough about it to raise a fanboy stink, so...:D

But I do know enough of the past history of gamer movies to know that we should be happy that Uwe Boll isn't ruining them anymore! ;)

Ulaven started playing first during the beta, I didn't get an invitation.

I have played on and off, horde and alliance, and my Alliance hunter always makes it first to cap because she was my first baby and massively overpowered.

So I have 22 characters, right now all between 94 and 100. I do all the crafts...yeah, it takes a while. They also have a little in-game pokemon mini game where you capture pets and I have...uh...650 of them?

I play, I get to cap, I stop playing, I re-up during an expansion. Legion's coming up so I just want to get the jump on it.

My other long running game was Everquest II, which got sold and while I was busy playing Bioware games and writing for about a year, I lost my access, and there we're also talking 26 characters and a hell of a lot of time, and now it's...*poof* - gone. Sony sold it, and the new company, Daybreak something, sends me a link to "reset" a password that never works, there's no customer support. Most people have already left and I'm just a year behind trying to absolutely confirm that one of my favorite places is gone.

As for gamer movies...I loved Dungeon Siege and the adaptation was...so...fucking bad...I mean really, Uwe, you had THAT CAST...and you did THAT to it?!

Oy. Sooooo bad.

It's funny to see the characters in the movie set up, most of these guys you've traveled through time or whatever and hung out with them, fixed their bullshit, killed them, called them out, made fun of them, stole their crap.

So in this last expansion you're back in time and the ultra powerful are hanging out in your garrison ragging on each other.

Gazlowe says: Somebody call for a fixer?
Archmage Khadgar says: ... You're entrusting a goblin to be your foreman?
Thrall says: Gazlowe oversaw the construction of Orgrimmar.
Gazlowe says: Orgrimmar! The impenetrable fortress!
Archmage Khadgar says: Wasn't it recently sacked?
Gazlowe says: Yeah yeah, okay, one little sacking.

Oh yeah, that Wrynn boy, I saved his son.

Thrall would have been fucked if I hadn't done that thing where I went back in time and freed him from prison and saved that human woman he loved.

Do not get me started on Arthas, that little shit.
