There are tons of sites that don't have an 18 year rule. Most of them are garbage though. As many 'bad' stories as you'll find here there is a minimum level of readability that is necessary or else Laurel just kicks it back and tells you you suck and should kill yourself.
asstr is probably the best known but Kirsten's Archives I think is still out there as is BDSMstorylibrary was still up as of a year ago. Actually as I recall from wandering around Lit is actually in the minority as far as strictly enforcing the no kids rule. Which in my opinion is largely a blessing.

ASSTR and Kirsten's Archives...wooooo boy, now those zones take me back to the moldy oldies...I used to spend weeks getting through the magnum opuses of some of their more prolific writers. I still have a folder somewhere where I saved some favorite stories to read "offline" in the days prior to reader apps.
If you thought their underage stuff is all over the place, you should read some of their interracial stories. Ye gods...outside of a few nuanced exceptions, most of the cookie cutter caricatures passing for black people in their stories could give our own vanilla smoothie a run for his money!

Yes, Pollynova, there is a Kristen.
We live in a fortunate age. There was a dark time at Lit, when Laurel was kept prisoner in a dark tower in a faraway land. Some remembered Laurel, but most had never seen an actual Laurel post.
More than a few thought she was either dead, or had turned her back on us because we had been bad.
There were stories of a rescue mission launched by a band of stalwart GBers, who set fire to a server farm and scaled the tower walls, to release her from her cell. Lit was down for about a week and when it returned, Laurel was once again in power. Details are scarce because a of a very strict confidentiality clause in the contracts and I can't say anymore.
Whatever may or maynot have happened, Laurel has returned and posts often enough to reassure us that she still cares.

to be semi-serious, i believe there was at one point a person who at least called themselves kristen, but then they fucked off and disappeared for a bit leaving that site in limbo until something happened and some dude took over. it's been awhile since i cared, but there you go. i have stories over there. they're over here as well.

Google is great but sometimes if you don't know what exactly you're looking for it can be a pain. And it's still often easier to ask other people.
I haven't been to Asstr in years other than to be aware that it's still floating around. Actually only this place and I think Sex Stories (been ages since I've wandered there, might take a gander just to see what they've been up to) are easily navigated.

nifty is fairly easy to navigate, but it fucking sucks these days. it might still be good for gay stories, but the lesbian section is rarely updated and when it is updated it's usually with something either gross or totally lame.
which brings me to a third reason for not visiting asstr: no fucking rating system so you never know whether the story you're about to click on is even worth the bandwidth. it's a huge drag digging through piles of creepy shit and just plain shitty shit to find one or two halfway decent things to whack off to.

Like I said, Lit does have a standard. Below this amount of quality 'thou shall not pass!!!!' A lot of sites either don't have rating systems or have rather poor ones. Not that I'm exactly married to the four star system here. Granted it might work out the same way but I find myself tempted to tell people who are meh not to vote. It turns out a flood of people who enjoyed your story but didn't think it was 'TEH BEST THING EVAHH!!!!!!!!!!!' Hurt your score a lot more than that one guy who hated it but slogged through it anyway. Especially the ones where it just wasn't their cup of tea. I don't mind when I fucked up and wrote a subpar story, but there is something really annoying about knowing that some guy gave you a one because this story wasn't labeled interaccial and if he wanted to read about a monkey fucking a girl he would have gone to the right section. Which has happened to me more frequently than I like to think. I'm not going to claim that I don't see race, I'm going to admit that when I write stories race isn't on the forefront of my mind and it may not occur to me in any solid way that John Travolta+Halle Berry= Anything but Hollywood sex.
