I am now identifying myself as a TRANSGENDER, and I will use WOMENS BATHROOMS

Why does the DOE have a civll rights division?

Isn't that the purview of the Justice Department?

Do they have a SWAT team too?

Abolish it!

and teh GubMint will protect my right to do that

We already know that you're a crossdresser.

I'm glad you're finally coming to terms with your sexuality. It took a while, but better (very) late than never.

Women's bathrooms are no big issues, we have cubicles.

I have used men's bathrooms on rare occasion when's women's line is too long for the strength of my bladder. Gianbattista has gone in first to check where the urinals are. I think men get way more upset than most women would. I did here once a woman get upset about a older than normal boy coming in with his mother, but I think she was pretty well stared down.

I really cannot see why we don't just tuck urinals around a corner and have mixed sex lavatories more often. Its no big deal, surely?

Females are nasty mother fuckers and piss everywhere but in the bowl.

I worked at the Quickie Mart. Mexicans shit in sinks, fill toilet bowls with towels and then fill the bowls with shit, but they cant touch a gal for basic nastiness.

what's the issue? sorry...'teh' issue... why why why 'teh'?

If you look like a woman why would going into a woman's toilet (bathroom is such a misnomer I mean where is the fucking 'bath'?) be an issue?

lol..like the Little Britain character who announces to everyone he meets for the first time: "I'm the only gay in the village!" do you call out."It's OK I am a woman now!"

or are you just a narcissistic attention whore?

Was this before you became a Lawyer/Psychiatrist/Engineer/Farmer/Founder of Atlanta/Ruler of the British Empire?

It is not about the privacy of the bathroom stall.

It is about changing openly in the locker room and sharing the shower room.

That means that all sorts of children who would have objections to flashers and other pervs, and not always for religious reasons, will have no choice but to sue for privacy...

Parents who have objections are now simply told to quit with the unmoral and old-fashioned transgenderphobia and let the school "correct" their improper parenting of the state's wards.

Using "bathroom" in transatlantic English leads to difficulty. Its understandable to presume "lavatory" assuming American English usage is dominant.

Changing rooms can have cubicles too. Many do for those too shy to group change. Personally, I'd be ok with this, just using a cubicle for a couple of minutes to change, and have two shower banks. Some changing rooms have cubicle showers too, not too fancy, but enough for privacy.

I've been in hundreds of American schools and their locker rooms as part of my competitive career. Massage it all you want, but they are big rooms. Period. The "girl" is complaining bitterly that "she" was given a cubicle. I'm complaining bitterly that she was not given professional mental health treatment and a lesson on the science of anatomy and genes...

So....maybe a big room with cubicles available to all is how we get more kids keeping interested in sport ( I was talking of changing rooms generally fwiw.....in adult life, swimming pools and so on. ) If the trans girl wants to change in a big room and is not self conscious good, if other girls feel uncomfortable they can use the cubicles. Whether its because there is a trans girl, because they have body insecurity, or whatever.

What is the cost to the average school district to begin doing that for the rare, and possibly never to occur, outlier?

If a private entity wants to do cubicles, fine.

But on another note, what we see is the absurd logical consequence to all civil rights drives, with success comes arrogance. In order for one boy to come out of the closet to play girl, girls are told to get into the closet if it bothers them. The trans girl has a fucking penis.

Now, the next logical step for the sexual predator. Dress up, claim gender identification, gain unfettered access...

This is something we need to think deeply about and have a prolonged discussion about before using the cudgel of government to decree that you will accept the mainstreaming of mental health issues as normative, or else.

What stops there being male on male sexual predators in your boys' changing rooms? What stops there being girl on girl sexual predators in your girls' changing rooms?

Fwiw, I agree, I would NOT make big structural changes to public buildings...this is nothing to do with what is right, merely what is practically affordable. I would consider new buildings being built differently, and not just for 'one trans girl' but for the huge number of children we know are not keen to partake in sport/activity.

Admittedly, nothing. But, I would submit that to most people the idea of a male using this ruse to rape a woman is a far greater danger for while the gay population is limited by genetic science and lack of serious procreation, the male predator has been a great and cherished meme and reality for all of time. Just look at the statistical evidence on rape.

Still, it runs into a cost-benefit analysis. For most school districts does it then put a damper on the enthusiasm for a new school when the cost goes up in order to entertain every unusual mental state imaginable?

So, some creepy adult is going to be "monitoring" the children?

Again, just basic cost-benefit analysis over the course of many decades has not led to a rise of cubicle use in schools. Even huge and profitable sports venture and municipal arenas employ group locker rooms and showers. Now allowing female reporters into an adult environment, okay.

But allowing this sort of thing, where the one can intimidate and offend the many who are just not developmentally mentally ready to be forcibly exposed to the opposite sex, no matter how desirous that boy is to be a girl? I think that needs another sort of cost-benefit analysis. I think the one needs help, the one seems to think, the hell with them, let them go seek mental health counseling...

I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that you're one of those "flashers" and "perverts" that you're talking about. I mean, you ARE on this site. To those who side with you, that's condemnation enough.

They're almost always adult males looking for excuses to hang out around places where high school children change.

I love the smell of cognitive dissonance in the morning. It smells like victory.
