What is the reason that you come to lit?

I just thought I would start a post with this question in mind.

I'm sure everybody may have different reasons for coming here.

I think it definitely passes time and perhaps lets you forget the things in your real life?

An interesting thing would be doesn't facebook, twitter and other social media kind of do the same thing?

Although lit is like more sexual? Perhaps it may be more exciting to engage with others on lit in a sexual manner than mainstream social media.

It's a funny thing with me because sometimes I feel guilty for coming on lit. It's like I ask my self what did I accomplish or isn't it silly to share feelings and sexual desires with folks I do not even know.

I don't like to judge but I have seen some things on lit that I do not agree with and find disturbing in nature.

Well these are my thoughts for now. What does anybody else have to say?

Thanks for reading :)

I came here initially to role-play, and to chat with other adults. But since it has just been to chat. I might get back into role-playing but i can't guarantee it

Facebook and twitter did not exist at the turn of the century. I first found Lit in either 2001 or 2003. I had used other similar global online communities before that. For me it was a chance to query others about what goes on in their heads to compare and contrast it with my own ruminations.

Modern social media connects you to your "real life" not provides a distraction from it.

Let us know what you decide.

I simply come here to quote Playground OPs, as the Playgrounders here are obviously unable to do it themselves.

Here's an actual, practical idea:

Share with your cat "the reason that you come to lit", and see if s/he gives an empty can of tuna.

Conditions of my parole

You are supposed to not have any contact with criminals. Disgustipated was charged with attempted murder. The victim saw his face and almost died.

Just giving you the heads up. Stay away from him if you don't want to violate your parole.

Ks1 is my parole officer
You know, a scared straight/schock parole.
Said I need to see how I could end up.

To post some of my stories.

I had noticed that stories posted on Literotica had more views and more responses than the other places I had been putting my existing stories.

Once I had posted half-a-dozen or so I started entering the themed Literotica Contests. Now I have over 200 stories posted as me and jeanne_d_artois.

(And two stories so far in the current Halloween Contest.)
