How the heck do I stop every single post made on Facebook from being emailed to me?
Where is the off switch?
I just deleted 1600 emails from Effing Facebook.

My wife was complaining about this. There are filters in the privacy settings. I don't have one so don't know exactly what they are called, but keep looking there is a way to select who you want to get all posts from and who not.

Settings, notifications, email

Settings is top right hand corner, notifications is towards the bottom of the list, email is second one down.

It's a lifesaver lol

I also had to go into individual apps and subscribed threads to OFF THEM.
BTW, I now am experiencing carpal tunnel pain from all the deleting...
Next project, going into several emails that send me daily emails and unsubscribe.
Canada has a strict anti spam law, and one email I kept getting, I sent them a complaint about not being able to unsubscribe, which is illegal here. They send me back an email saying there is an unsubscribe button at the bottom of email.
What a scam. I took a picture every ten minutes for two hours of that connecting NEVER connecting. I then sent them the link to the anti spam law and all the pictures. Finally that got me off the six email a day diet from them. I don't even ever remembering signing up for their emails. Sheesh.
I have now deleted 4300+ emails....unsubscribed from 30...and still have more to go...

There is a terrific add-on for some browsers called FBP (Facebook Purity) and it works wonders, eliminating 'people you might know' and many other annoyances. Google it and you'll find it.
