After much googling and research, I think I will not be hiking to the top of St. Peter's Dome this weekend, and I probably should not be working. Who am I kidding? I am not going to stop working and I still might do the hike because if surgery is the only answer, I am not going to be able to hike for a while and that is going to crush my spirit.



I should not have opened that envelope.

As long as the doc doesn't say no, you should definitely go. Just don't go alone and take a few precautions to facilitate rescue in a worst case scenerio.
