Apparently I need to start shopping in thrift shops again...I haven't done it in ages, but there have been several big "finds" lately that are intriguing.

Your link.sparked off a long Buttevant rant today. Hopefully will be in the Irish Post when I get it for her. Very interesting stuff.
 
The dog puts her huge tennis ball in the middle of the sofa and then barks at it, jumps around like a maniac, chases her tail, nibbles on the area rug and eventually gets the ball herself to just put it on the ottoman and start the whole dance again.

It reminds me of some Litsters but way cuter. And probably smells better.

Ain't you the one that so "Sssubtely" alluded to my lack of sophistication and called me 'no shrimp and pees' etc.?

It's just payback, on my part, for those particular Lit britts who act as if they were superior to some of us.

There was lots of smiling eye candy in the shop today, the weather was perfection, and sales were great. Gorgeous autumn day should never be taken for granted.

I think you can subscribe to the Examiner on-line. Even though they call themselves the Irish Examiner now, they're still fairly Cork-centric.
