We have Obamacare.
Where were Chris Harper Mercer's councilors, and health professionals ?
The state left the burden of Chris Harper Mercer's care to his mother.
The state dropped the ball. He should have had a classification, and a councillor assigned to him. Where was his advocate, and advisors ?
The Army failed to inquire about Chris Harper Mercer's records.
Chris Harper Mercer was not advised against entering the military.
Someone needed Chris to be signed up, in order to add to their quota ?
Someone thought that it was a good idea to put a military rifle in Chris's hands ?
No one thought to look into his health records, and deem him unsuitable ?
How did Chris make it through the examinations, without someone noticing ?
The U.S. Army confirmed Friday it discharged Harper-Mercer just halfway through his 10 weeks of in basic training in 2008. "A review of Army records indicate that Christopher Sean Harper-Mercer was in service at Ft. Jackson, S.C., from 5 November-11 December 2008 but discharged for failing to meet the minimum administrative standards to serve in the U.S. Army," said Lt. Col. Ben Garrett.
The Army failed him. They knew from experience with Chris, that something was wrong.

Were there recommendations ? Did someone advise Chris ?
Or did the Army dump him on his arse, in the middle of nowhere, with nowhere to go from there ?

Chris was young. His life should not have had so many hopeless turns.
He fell through the cracks.
As we watch the turmoil and anguish resulting from his decision to murder, Wingnuts are cutting more money away from mental health services, and services from the disabled. What would you expect from Wingnuts that take food away from children ? That take education money away from children ? Wingnuts that resent living babies for needing milk to live.
Last, but not least. Where did Chris get so many weapons, and so much ammunition ?
