Hilary Clinton was expected to fulfill the requirements and demands of her appointed job, while she was inside an enemy camp.

She had no privacy. Her communications were not secure. How was she to do her job, which required diplomacy, confidentiality, and discretion ? Every Republican was eager to exploit any vulnerability that Hilary Clinton had. Her stock in trade was confidential communications. Her duty was to protect State Secrets.

In the meanwhile, Republicans deny there is any conspiracy against Hilary Clinton.

The major media networks were only too happy to provide a nearly infinite echo, of the word-

"Untrustable."


A successful whisper campaign, was celebrated among the congressmen who were seeking to damage Hilary Clinton's brand.

If there was anything of substance, found, during the circus that the Republicans built around Hillary Clinton, the Republicans would be howling to burn Hilary Clinton on a pyre, immediately.

All that the Republicans offer, is snide asides. Not much for the Republicans to offer, after all the money that has been spent, and all the years of accusations.

But, with Republicans, their efforts are always win- win.
A wisp of hot air became a handful of water, that they could throw at Hilary Clinton.

Her private emails did not remain private. The Republicans are mining them for Republican advantage during this election cycle.

Unfortunately, this seems to have worked with Hillary. Her approval numbers have been declining. She lacks the charm of her husband or Ronald Reagan, so she cannot smile her way though this. Hillary reminds people of an elementary school teacher who gave them bad grades, and made them stay after school.

Most voters do not analyze issues like this. They go by visceral reaction.

There is another thread that shows her numbers over a long term. Her numbers are falling the same way Obama's approval ratings have been in absolute free fall for eight years. Which for her seems to be anywhere between 56% and 48% on any given day to Obama's 42%-48% on any given day. Tis primarily media spin.

If the GOP planned on making Beghazi one of the centerpieces of their eventual nominee’s campaign, they might want to shred those attack ad storyboards and think again after Hillary Clinton struck first with a devastating ad featuring House Speaker front runner Kevin McCarthy shooting his mouth off.

In a brilliant preemptive strike, Clinton released the ad, called “Admit,” excerpting comments by McCarthy fessing up that the latest GOP-led Benghazi investigative committee was designed to harm her presidential chances.

It would'a worked too, if McCarthy had kept his mouth shut. He just had to brag to the base though.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy has abruptly pulled out of the race for Speaker of the House on the same day that he was widely expected to be nominated for the position.

The nominating contest in the GOP conference set for Thursday afternoon in the House has been postponed.

It was not immediately clear why McCarthy, who was viewed as the likely successor to outgoing speaker John Boehner, unexpectedly exited the contest. He told colleagues in a private conference meeting that he was not “the right person for the job,” according to members present.

We made a mess out of nation after nation. After destroying Libya, it was then time to destroy Syria, and Benghazi was a transshipment point for weapons headed from Libya to Syria. That's the "Truth on Benghazi", and the Republicans and Democrats are equally guilty. But to my mind, Obama is more of a Republican than he is a Democrat. He's more bloodthirsty than Bush was.

My attitude about the Monica Lewinsky "scandal" was that if the leader of the free world wants a young and beautiful mistress with whom to relax from the cares of office, that is an indulgence he should be permitted as long as he does not acknowledge her publicly, and as long as she practices discretion.
