"Was the School a Gun Free Zone?

College campuses in Oregon cannot technically ban firearms. The Oregon University system used to have a complete gun ban on university grounds; however, in 2011, the Oregon Court of Appeals overturned the ban. As a result of that decision, public colleges are prohibited from banning guns on campus. Individuals with concealed carry permits are allowed to carry guns, despite college bans."

Or do you mean it's debunked here?

Or by the US veteran that was carrying on campus on the day and made himself known as such to faculty members?

I live 11 miles from the college and at least we saved the taxpayers the expense of a trial by killing the bastard. A friend of mine had the blood of the shooter on her when she responded with the ambulances. I know some kids that go there and one instructor, and I've only heard, so far, that one is okay.

You don't know how close it hits to home until it happens in your backyard. But then again, my neighbor across the street was murdered in her own home by her adoptive son and the house was set on fire to hide the evidence.

I don't know if you had a chance to read the preamble, but that wasn't my understanding. It was the reading of the American ambassador, Matthew Barzun. I was merely passing it on.

I'll not delve into your understanding of history, since I don't think we are likely to agree.

Agreement depends on if you are willing to accept the factual events and their resulting outcomes. My understanding of history in regards to the topics at hand and the role the US played in both are just fine.

We kicked your asses twice and the Germans twice in WW 1 & 2.

nice to see someone kick Des's ass

((not that it hasn't happened before, mind you))

Something that is permitted WITH written authorization is NOT "banned," you fucking simpleton.

Donald Trump said, "It's not a gun problem, it's a mental illness problem."

Trump has previously iterated the message that mass shootings and gun violence are more the product of broken mental health systems than proof of the need for tighter gun control laws.

When asked why it seems these acts of mass violence are more prevalent in the United States than other countries, Trump responded, "I think what we have is we have copy cats. I think that they watch it and they see it here more than other places."
So maybe if the media ignore the mass shootings, they'll just go away.

Please, LTR, thump him on his head or send him to do the dishes,
he's really stuck on the Dishrag thingy
Is "dishrag" supposed to be pejorative? Mine are all neatly folded, and freshly washed.
