A person who posts on a blog thread, in the guise of "concern," to disrupt dialogue or undermine morale by pointing out that posters and/or the site may be getting themselves in trouble, usually with an authority or power. They point out problems that don't really exist. The intent is to derail, stifle, control, the dialogue. It is viewed as insincere and condescending.

Fucking concern trolls.

Excellent thread, Wings. I suspect that the KS1 douche Av thing inspired this thread.
Now - my own simplistic or crass translation of your statement is:

Personally, I was attacked, several times, on Lit. But never about my personal life, which makes it more or less ok, in my books.
Nevertheless… the assholes who keep posting -compulsively- about that user's personal life - I wonder about their motivations: personal grudge or sexual aka need to jerk off ?

Wings, I'm 'worried about' ('annoyed by') your reasons for posting this thread. So I am going to ascribe them to personal lifestyle decisions on the basis of no evidence whatsoever, thereby revealing far more about me than about you.

Is that cool with you?

You were attacked because you're an idiot who doesn't understand (maybe likes to pretend to not understand) how this message board works. And because you take offense at the oddest things.

please, more…

I'm concerned that Wings daughters will grow up thinking masks should be worn to work.

I'm also concerned that Dolf doesn't have any clothes at all, and that Betty is too far away to bring her a fresh top.

Sharper than it looks, that hashtag. But then it looks like pond-slime, so it's not hard.

now seriously, Des,
You're brittish, I'm stupid, so we're so like chalk and cheese. Which explains why we keep getting into stupid fights for no reason.
We both need one of those Star Trek devices to translate what the other person means. Personally, I can barely make sense of what you're saying, half of the time.

Sorry about the comprehension issues, but they appear to be one way. English is my first language, of course. What is yours? Perhaps I could write in that, instead?

I speak fluently in 2 foreign languages (besides my own).
Do you?

(when I say fluently, for ex., I'm referring to Spoken english. There's a Huge difference between spoken and written english phrase length, etc. you should know that. )

Oh, I do know that. I also know that no-one writes in spoken English, and that your written English sounds like no speech I have ever heard.

I, too, can converse in two other languages. Perhaps we might find common ground. What is your native language?
