If you ever want a good yet educational binge watch look for When We Left Earth by the Discovery channel. It chronicles the early days of the space program from its beginnings through the mercury program and Gemini too the Apollo program. I've watched it on Netflix many times. I'm not sure if it is currently up on their streaming service or not

I think to myself how amazing it must have been to set foot on another planet and look across the greatest of divides to see home so many many miles away hanging there in all that blackness. What must have gone through those brave men's minds in those moments of awe.
