Laurel really should create a new forum to move all of the various 'pissing contests' to and then require Credit Card access. The Lit. equivalent of 976 numbers. It'd be worth a try anyway. LT alone would spend a small fortune.

Perhaps I've just been here too long. Lit has gotten to be like a hit song from 10 years ago that you've heard once too often. All of the pissing contests, AmPic's wannabe's, and overflow from the Playground, have taken on the aspect of Music by Muzak. Background noise.

"New" is always interesting. As often not fun as it is fun, but always interesting. Like that old Chinese curse.

You could always be a stewardess for a major airline. *chuckle* Turn yourself into the star of some drama. But mostly I like to pop some corn and watch the show........until the dialog becomes 'canned.'

Maybe we lack the ability to be very surprised anymore. I saw a video the other day, taken by someone I know, at a party. They thought the subject of the video was funny, all i could think was.... heroine. I hope they don't OD.

We had a visitor this week. A little miniature horse who decided we looked like a potential spa. he hung out a couple of days. That surprised me in a most delightful way.

Yes, not far up the road from me. He and a buddy showed up the end of last week, but only got to stay a couple of hours. This one decided to come back this week, his owners were busy putting up hay, so we hosted him for a couple of days. Cute little shit, and probably too smart for his own good. he suckered me out of a couple of apples

Yes, he seemed to be. I'm not sure how he was getting out, but apparently he and his pasture mate have a reputation for being kickers. I never saw that, but then, I had been warned so I didn't take any chances. The boxer thought we'd bought her a new toy and the 2 of them spent hours playing.

Lot's of attitude but didn't seem particularly mean. Could it be mini's are the chihuahuas of the equine world?
