I met Rick back in 1976...I was 16 and he was 18. We had a tumultuous relationship for about 3 years.
He was from Louisiana (note Bronzeage). He was one of the toughest guys in Austin way back then.
He worked as doorman/bouncer for several clubs back then. I never instigated a fight between him and another (I just didn't do that shit)
However, whenever I was present and saw him tap his toe behind him, I got the hell outta the way. That meant he was punching somebody out with one punch.
He was also a boxer. Funny thing, here we are 30 years later and my husband and Rick are still best friends.
Rick has stepped up and "done jobs" for my husband over the years. Nothing bad...just helping him out.
You Louisiana boys kick ass.
Also, in all the time I was with Rick...he never once struck me, terrorized me or otherwise caused me problems.
Bronzeage, you Louisiana guys not only have the muscle...you are fearless.
That is all.
