CNN breaking news has Walker calling it quits!

i honestly just wanted to start a thread. I never start threads.

Not really a good sign when one of the most repulsive scumbags in American life is not nearly enough of a scumbag for GOP voters.

Good riddance to the Koch puppet. He remains Wisconsin's problem, but only Wisconsin's problem.

Paraphrased from his announcement.

"The Bible is filled with stories of people being called by God to lead in unusual ways. I have been called to clear the field so people can make better choices."

If God called on me to get out of the fucking way I'd quit possibly go on a lead diet and lose several ounces of grey matter in the process.

The fun factor just dropped by 9%. Or maybe 7%. Yes, a 7% solution. But the remainder are entertaining enough. The parade of clowns continues to march along.

The RW'ings need to knob job the christian crazies never ceases to amaze me.

Then I go back to places like GA, KY and TX to visit friends and such and am quickly reminded just how fucking insane they are about the shit. Churches like every 500ft......crazy fuckers dancing with snakes.....aggro as fuck preachers screaming at people in the streets about the fire and brimstone hell that awaits them and shit.

We really should have let the south go....we still could.....just sayin'.

LOL Civil War II....the south wants back in after welfare is cut off.

Here's the thing, no matter how crazy they are in the South about religion what exactly are the hardcare fundies gonna do? Vote for the pot smoking, baby killing, gay marriage officiating, evolution believing atheist party? The worst case scenario is them staying home but the amount of sane people you'd pick up in their wake would more than make up for the people who are THAT far gone. I do not get it. Nor do I care because republicans would win every single race in America if they'd stop using rifle scopes to examine their own genitals.

The question is where does he go from here? I don't see a path for him unless he tries again in four years, which I doubt because he won't be reelected Governor.

His numbers are the worst they've ever been. He's lost his donor base. They'll run Kleefisch or someone else and go down in a blaze of progressive glory.

The real question is where will his 0.8% turn for their candidate? Huckabee may break 1%

Got no money - the end - Amen.

He lost the money after he lost his base, he lost his base after he got caught in bed with the perfessers. Politics 101 requires pols to champion causes dear to their constituents BUT every pol I know of longs to stray with perfessers.

Walkers base left him for Trump.

I predict Carson's muslim comments lures many Fiorina voters away.

The reality of politics is simple: Politics isn't rational beyond offering constituents what they want as far as you can deliver the goods.

He lost his money when he started talking like he had his own opinions on policy.

Just as surprisingly–and just as impactfully–Walker's dalliance with immigration limitation puts him at odds with the Koch networks, just a day after David Koch told reporters that he was inclined to back Walker. The Charles Koch Foundation has aggressively campaigned for immigration reform along the lines of what got through the Senate in 2013. The LIBRE Initiative, a Latino outreach wing of the Koch network, has advocated some of the same reforms, and rejected any talk of limiting legal immigration.
