I noticed Laurel moved a couple of threads initiated by SJ Parker. Did someone (who?) ask her to do so, or was it Laurel's own initiative?

Don't disagree, especially with the first, but it would be nice to know where the initiative is coming from.

Thank you for asking.

My threads are in a better place, the Political Thread, and I'm surrounded by people who are really nice, wicked nice.

"Hey! You say one more thing about Obama not being a citizen and I'll stab you with my pencil."

Sorry, I'm just having a friendly disagreement, um, discussion with a political pundit, a Republican moron, sorry a nice Republican fellow who can't keep his opinions to himself.

"Why don't you come over and see me sometime, big fella. I'm just across the way in Washington DC instead of in the most dangerous city in the United States, St. Louis Missouri where the AH thread is located."

The Question is...

I know Laurel moved them LC. That, however, was not the question.

The question was where (from whom) did the initiative to move the thread come from?

If Laurel moved them of her own initiative that is something of a change of dynamic in the Board's management. If someone else encouraged her to do so that is also new, at least a new emphasis.

I agree that SJ Parkers posts were tripe, though modestly entertaining tripe and were also clearly outside Board rules, but I think that changes in process are important, particularly if they are taken as precedent:

Thus, my question.

I suppose only one person knows the answer and I doubt we will get it.

BUT SJP's threads had been around awhile and remained here, so my thought is no one here complained.

Through secret channels, it has come to my attention that a petition was drafted and signed by many of the AH regulars to move my threads from the AH to the political thread. You know who they are. We all know who they are. I don't have to mention names.

Rather than ignore my threads, they wanted them moved and wanted me gone. It's a guy thing. Except for Laurel and Scouries, they don't like women posting to their precious thread.

I'm not really understanding their motives behind it when the Bush thread in question was there for months, but they wanted to show they had power and influence over me in the way that a big fish in a small pond does. Whatever? Good luck to them. They're small with their pettiness.

I really don't care where they moved my thread. I wrote what I needed to write at the time, just as I'm doing now. The post served my purpose in wanting to voice my political opinion.

Certainly, it seems strange to me when AH regulars can post tens of thousands of idiotic and nonsensical comments 24/7 about everything and anything under the sun and I come along with my 600 lousy posts and I'm the troublemaker. Go figure.

Truly, I'm in a better place, D.C is way better than St. Louis.

The fact your Bush thread was there for months should tell you no "ah regulars" ran to Laurel about removing it.

Fact is you are on so many ignore lists, most didn't know it was here.

Your threads were moved because Laurel has been popping into the AH more often of late and probably spotted them and put them where they belong. Threads are moved almost daily on story ideas and other forums and no one whines.

So as my wife always tells her mother when she ramps up into "you don't know..." mode "Get off your cross, ma, you're not a martyr."

Do you see how mean they are and are so protective of this stupid thread?

I don't have to name names when they are so eager to reveal themselves (lol).

Thank you for enlightening me HateShip. As usual, you're so very kind and gracious, especially on a Sunday, the Lord's day.

Have a wonderful afternoon.

I'll be watching the Patriots win over the Bills.

Sometimes, madam, you write some real junk.
I'll define 'junk' to mean writings which have little or no 'effect' outside the USA.
Lit is an International Board and I doubt many in 'foreign parts' give a tuppenny damn about what Bush or von Trump did last week (apart from raising the occasional laugh).
So I'll confess to being one of those who fervently wished your wordy, one might say effusive, political diatribes gone from the AH if only because I like the banter and I like to learn something of the craft of writing rather than reading the latest USA political cr@p.
I have wondered, more than once, if your outpourings are just there to wind people up and cause a bit of a furore; apart from cluttering up the server with meaningless junk, of course.

As you are probably a better author that many, your remarks on the craft of writing are always welcome.

Bingo. And Freddie is a "he," not a "madam." Much of what he's doing now is an attempt to cover his tracks on that point. Surely you can tell just from reading his performance art pieces that this is a male writer. And some of us who go after him on this point do so because his posting style is malicious. He should have been banned years ago over what some of us remember as "the dead baby incident."

Sorry, pilot, but I am not sufficiently skilled in reading that far into a text.

"the dead baby incident."

Too bad the no personal attacks rule hadn't been added to the sticky then, scouries and Freddie would have been gone.

Okay, maybe just Freddie, Scouries is bulletproof here no matter what he does.

Although Scouries can get to the gullible, he has never been able to do it quite the way Freddie does--or with the depth of maliciousness (at least in part because Freddie is a far better writer than Scouries is). Scouries seems to be fading, though. Nothing at all on the last contest.

Sorry. Pardon me but I can't stop laughing.

In more than 4 years as SusanJillParker, I have 639 posts on the forum boards, most of those were to the Survivor contest thread.

Yet, sr71plt, pretend pilot, has 38,936 mean spirited, critical posts,

HateShip has 24,103 moronic, nonsensical posts,

And TxRag, a lesbian pretending to be a man has 30,142 forum posts.

That's 93,181 posts to my 639 posts (lmao). You're kidding right? Seriously? Where's your argument?

Are my few hundred posts so threatening to you that you pee yourselves like the little bitches that you? Why are you so afraid of me? Is it because the three of you combined don't have a creative thought in your heads and I always get the better of you in an argument? Is that it? Is that why you cry foul.

Listen, I'm sorry that you three stoogies are stupid. I'm sorry that you cannot write an original thought. I'm sorry that you don't have my education or possess my class. I'm sorry for you. I can't even imagine what it must be like to be any of you, never mind when the three of you merge together to attack me as if I'm a monster.

Even when I wrote as BostonFictionWriter back in 2007 & 2008, I only had 3,500 posts and nearly all of those were on the Survivor contest thread.

Yet, even when I minded my own business and posted to a contest thread that Pilot snubbed his nose at, he followed me to the thread and attacked me.

Yet, I'm the troublemaker. I'm the only writer who should be banned from the site.

Listen gentleman and madam, if I add all of your stories, I've posted nearly twice the amount of stories than the three of you combined.

Because people were stealing my stories, I've deleted more stories from BostonFictionWriter than HateCraft and TxRag have written combined.

I don't come here for trouble, yet, every single time I make a post, I have pretend pilot, hatecraft, and TxRag up my ass attacking me. I'm here to write stories and once in a great while, I make a post. Yet, every time I post anything, you three attack me.

I don't bother you. I don't go looking for your post to bother you. I don't post after you make a post and attack you, yet you three attack me over and over again. Then, you have the nerve to point your finger at me for starting trouble (lol).

Guess what you three stoogies, I'm not leaving. After what I've been through in my life, you've never met a tougher broad than me. You dig? Bitches!

"Laurel, under the new rules, please ban sr71plt, loveshit, and TxRag from the site. Thank you, Laurel."
