Favorite Animals

Just curious. What's everyone's favorite animal? Mine is the orangutan. I love the way the flanged males look (the ones with the big cheek pads). They're intelligent and inquisitive, and they have such a unique appearance! I think they look very wise and serene.

Chantek, one orangutan, is pretty good with problem solving and sign-language, allegedly. Whenever I go to a zoo with orangutans, they're my favorite exhibit. I would love to know what's going on behind those small, dark eyes of theirs. Did you know that orangutans are the only non-human ape that will make umbrellas to shield themselves from the rain? Chimps and gorillas just suffer through it. Orangutans have even been seen spear fishing.

Two. One is a cross between a long-hair and a mini and the other is a pure-bred short-haired mini.

The former is a placid, long-haired beauty that people want to pet, but get bit by.

The latter is noisy, ferocious and scary sounding, but only wants a belly-rub.

favorite animal? Dog (I guess for a lot of people it's either dog or cat).
