There is no option to create sparks and smoke.

There is no option to create sparks and smoke.

It has a fog option and has drawing and paint functions, I think. In paste it has arrows, there are a few that could be stretched and maybe colored to look like lightning.

Do you have photoshop? There's lots of amazing, free smoke and spark brushes out there. I did it for a similar image. I'm in bed now though.

I've used these two before. I'm not sure what effects they have but you can do them online and don't have to download.

Do you have photoshop? There's lots of amazing, free smoke and spark brushes out there. I did it for a similar image. I'm in bed now though.

I do not have photoshop nor do I know how to use it.

Instead, I have a free image editing program called GIMP.
