Good Morning Ling my friendd. It's an overcast day here in Charleston. I sneaked down to an early breakfast with my friend. It was nice to have a breakfast and coffee with only adult convo. Hope you have a fun annd relaxing weekend.
 
Hello to all. I am still having trouble sleeping and there is naught that can be done about it. Yesterday I did finally manage sleep, but not until later in the day. Got some things done and going to do that again today. I might as well write until I get tired and crawl back into bed. Hello to LING and T4T - a bit odd to say that elsewhere.

NRSE asked about you, she is on her way to Florida. Yes, I am back to paid writing. Actually got one well underway and thought of 2 more. My "deadline" no longer exists, but we have agreed to month's end. I will then get paid on the 15th of every month, as before.

I don't know why, but most Coolers do nothing for me. I haven't found more than a few where I thought the blend worked. Either too fruity or too much alcohol - not a proper mix.

I also shouldn't drink them because of the sugar, but I often wonder how many people know how much sugar is in beer. However, I'm told I should actually drink a tiny bit more, perhaps a beer or glass of wine per day, for my blood.

Heading back to bed shortly, but at least I'm productive. Not sure if I will go out later or stay in and try a good solid day of writing. Likely the former, but I will get at least 1 piece done today, hopefully more. I wouldn't mind having a few hundred (or more) dollars starting next month - not that I will use it for Oktoberfest (one word, btw - not nagging - and has a K, because that's how Germans spell it - my nieces are both German-born)

Yes Wknds seem to just fly by :eek: was busy but still seem to have accomplished a lot
Went Shopping Sat. baked Butter Tarts -cleaned House- Sunday went to Nieces B Day Party & Hubby watched Football after we got Home:)

Hmm, I'd love to hear all about your "fun" sometime.

I'm about three or four hours away from the fires. Other friends aren't so lucky. A couple friends live on a winery out that way and are waiting for the evacuation order. Another friend already got the order and has made it to safety, but she says they may not have a house to go back to....but at least the family is all together so that is the important part.

EDIT(Just saw her pictures) Nope, It's gone. Just the chimney left....but the family is fine and they can rebuild.
