The tentacle curse

I'm going to try and post a perfectly normal story idea for once...

I got nothing.

So instead, what if someone was cursed so they must have sex every three days lest they become a tentacle monster? They appear normal for the first day, start growing tentacles on the second but remain overall human but by the end of the third day they are a writhing mass of tentacles going after everyone until they find someone to have sex with.

There's another catch though: the cursed person must have sex with a different person each time, no using the same lover or just rotating lovers, it must be a different person (or persons) each time

The original idea was for a fantasy setting where A knight or paladin who are sworn to remaining celibate or monogamous but I also thought a high school setting would be interesting, with the main character needing to keep up appearances while he/she searches for whoever cursed them.

for example, the lead might be a dance team member who gets left alone after school with a towel manager who is a huge fan. She tries to give the manager the hint that she wants to be left alone but she just keeps talking and accidentally doing things that make the mc's tentacles (which are small and hidden in her hair at this point) go crazy (she loses her contact in the locker room and gets on all fours to look for it, for example

This is one of those ideas that relies on good execution. (Though I suppose all stories are that way.) The right writer could make this amazing.

Since a) every fuck must be with someone different and 2) they'll eventually run out of local candidates, make it a road trip story. Story dynamics will be rather varied depending on whether our Tentacle Monster (TM) is male or female, their age, ethnicity, and social status and views. Is the TM a sweet-looking Asian girl, or a BBC guy, or a gamer nerd, or The Donald or Hillary? Many possibilities here.

All excellent points to consider. The high school idea would have a lot of problems (as well as make incest a definite vs. a slight possibility) so it would probably be better to have the MC be living on his or her own or with a roommate and at least still be attending college, if not having a career.

I thought it would be more interesting to have a female lead. I figured she would be sexually active but tends to be rather vanilla and is monogamous. As for sexuality I figured bisexual but she's mostly dated women. Not sure about ethnicity or race yet (though the thought of a Japanese woman being the tentacle monster does tickle me).

At first I thought it might be good for the lead to be someone popular but it might make more sense for the character to be a bit of a wallflower, so it isn't noticed when she disappears right away or if she's going out at weird times or going to bad parts of town (I figured she might try to stem it at first by paying for an escort).

I figured the character would at first be shocked by what she was doing (the first sexual encounter I actually planned out was her mother's friend who comes to check on her after she screams from seeing herself become a TM for the first time. She at first only subconsciously controls her new appendages and is shocked at how hot she and and the older woman get as she gropes and constricts around her but can't help but explore more) but slowly becomes addicted to the power she has, making dumb mistakes (for example, willingly turning into a TM when she's only lacked sex for a day, fucking multiple partners simultaneously when just one would suffice, etc.) and quickly going through her supply of candidates. Also, she initially doesn't try to be manipulative at all and does her best to keep the tentacles out of her love-making but it becomes too tempting for her to transform and use some manipulation or intimidation (I figured the tentacles would secrete a substance that lowered inhibitions and raised arousal but the MC goes from just inviting people back to her place to finding ways to get her tentacles to touch potential candidates' skin.

Eventually, she would have to leave town and track down whoever cursed her or whoever could provide a cure.

Is the tentacle story idea an open idea, can anyone run with it and twist it at there will? Because I’d like to write my own version of this tonight, I have a concept written up, if you’d like to see it.

Makes me wonder though, is the cursed fellow supposed to be mostly successful at preventing the curse from taking effect, or mostly unsuccessful? I don't think you want to dangle potential tentacle rape out there and then have it not happen very much. I suppose regardless of setting he's going to run out of easy lays rather quickly and then have to start resorting to rape, either before or after the tentacles appear.

I think that's the whole idea of this sub-forum. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm sure we're all curious as to what you have planned, so go for it. (Edit: ah, I see you have it in a different thread.

I figured the curse would turn him/her into a tentacle monster right away the first time so there in't much of a choice. As the character learns the rules, it happens less...but he or she might start to get off on it so they start willingly transform into a monster.
