I have a few stories sketched out in .rtf and/or .odt formats. They were kind of written on the fly so no real formatting of conversations.

First, are quote marks really required? Suggested or preferred of course, but required?

If so, is there a way to do it without running each line individually and adding them manually?

In a browser post like this, I can highlight a line and do it with a tool, but that tool doesn't work in a word processor.

No quotation marks will get the story rejected. One of Laurels pet peeves. And make sure the trailing one is outside the punctuation.

Line by line is the only way I know of.

Wasn't as bad as I first though. Took a while, but there was some rewriting too.

Not to see how long approval takes for four submissions. First one only took a day or so.

If you submitted them all at once, laurel usually spreads them out a day apart unless you tell her otherwise in the notes field.

That's fine. There's no rush. They've been sitting on another PC for quite some time now.

Guess they never heard of "Leonard, Part 6".

There is no part 1 with same name in your profile. Kindly submit part 1 before part 2.

Is there any way to edit an older story? Do some cleanup, fill in some blanks, etc. without doing a re-submission? Some way to keep previous ratings, comments?

I've re-edited my story and want to replace the posted version with my new edited one. How do I do this?

No problem! Simply submit the new version as you submitted the old one, only adding the word "EDITED" to the title (ex. "My Sexy Firefighter Ch. 03 - EDITED") so that we know to replace the old text with the new text. We will then replace the original text with the new text. Your story will retain its previous voting score and views.
Edited stories take up to 48 hours to appear correctly on the site as the pages must be regenerated by the site scripts. If after 48 hours your submission edits are still not showing, please email us a link to the work in question.

^^ I figured there was something like that. I usually look for it (and may have even read it at one time), but I've been a bit distracted lately.
