scores don't mean much at all though, brett. look at the loving wives category.

i managed a red H over there, and i think the story is good (well, i would, eh? ), but i think i've done better [technically] elsewhere.

inc/tab is the most popular category round here. i find the readers to be kinder with their scores, with a couple of exceptions. but it seldom does well in the contests, oddly. i did get a second or third place with one, as i recall, but romance seems to be the flavour during contests. which reminds me, i'd best get back to it. the summer contest ends in 2 days and i've been shelving stuff only a couple of pages in.

more discipline - for me, i mean; i'm not writing a BDSM. some 'real work' made demands on my time, hence the late flap.

I was suggesting that our latest visitor use the votes as a guideline. Numbers work too. A goodly grouping of my works have had hits of over 100,000 or more.
