Feeling sorry for Ish, though, that's not going to get you much sympathy, certainly none from me.

I'm trying to not take any sides here (don't know enough of the GB history to know what motivates who).
But regardless of how vile a person is considered to be, there's a line that shouldn't be crossed, imo (as I said, mocking someone who has a life-threatening illness or a grieving father etc.)

Yeah, I agree with you there.

My concern is that if you are upset about how it happened, this happens often enough that if you really, really don't like it, you maybe should reconsider attendance.

Other than that, just trying to make clear what happened and why because you're apparently in distress, unlike most, unlike me.

I'm one of those people that has been here for enough of these and mightily entertained by several of them.

I was unclear re my being 'worked up', when I appologised to you.
I meant I am a bit impulsive (and quick keyboard + the fleeting feelings that we all experience during the day - not a good combo). My upset is gone it's not a more pervasive thing. I'm no longer affected by GB on a deeper level

But advice noted:) - and you are right : like many n00bs, I suspect, I fell into that trap in the beginning- it wasn't good.

Don't be so modest, you have a husband and child(ren). I don't think the ancient ones are picky. I'd give them my cat but there was a song written about her once. She comes back the very next day, you thought she was a gonner but she wouldn't stay away. The cat came back the very next day awaaaaaaaaay!

And when she returns she's generally pissed about whatever you did. Which means things you like get pissed on .

That's actually a good point. I'm just pretty sure my cat is farther up on the food chain. In fact I'm gonna go bring her a saucer of warm milk. I want to maintain my place as #1 pet and absolutely not to be in anyway sacrificed or slain for sport.
