It takes a bit of dedication to lug a heavy camera in an ever moving kayak, certainly worth it to catch the osprey, with it's beak in profile and white head markings.

It truly is a matter of dedication... overwhelming myself in mountains of photos to find the good ones. Sometimes I just enjoy the shooting and don't even look at photos for months til I get the urge to sort them out. The experience of being near the birds while they swoop is reward in itself, even without the evidence.
