I know it's early and the Summer Lovin' Contest is still open for entries, but the Halloween Contest starts in a month and a couple of hours from now:


Halloween
themes: scary stuff, costumes, Halloween traditions (trick-or-treating, etc.), etc.
starts: October 1
closes: October 22
winners announced: October 29

Please put your witch's hat on, dig out your Halloween costume, find your local ghosts and start writing.

Or continue writing the story you didn't finish for the 2014, 2013, etc. contests...

Don't remind me, I'm still trying to finish my Summer Story before the deadline.

Strange how there is almost a four month gap between the April Fool's and Nude Day contests, but Summer Lovin', Halloween and Winter Holidays have only a month-and-a-half apart between them.

Maybe the site should dump Nude Day and Summer Lovin' back a month or so to space the contests out a little better and give the authors some room to write?

This is another contest I'm excited for.

I've already went halfway through a mother/son story before stopping, it needs to be reworked.

And I've already made half a bdsm story, which I stopped to write another summer story.

And I've got a few other ideas.

There's a lot to write about here. I don't know about anyone else, but Winter seems like the hardest.

From what I've read about it, it sounds like sleep paralysis can pretty easily be the basis for horror stories. Glad I've never had it myself (yet).

I've had it, it is seriously fucked up. You think you're moving and yelling and struggling and in reality you're not moving at all.

I'd have bouts of it with my wife curled up next to me and she never knew it was happening even though I swore I was flailing all over the place.

I have that problem with most of my stories, "Wherethehell does it go?" I don't know whether I'll be up for Halloween this year, though it does tend to be a great lodge for my favorite 'tentacle sex' perversions but since there's a month to go, I'll keep it in mind.
