Start with the trigger. Sure the stock, grips, sights alll look cool, but a smooth trigger is where it's at.
When you get a forward grip don't mount it all the to the front. It is used for clearing rooms, and while putting it more towards the rear may not look as cool, it gives a quicker pivot for corners.
Wait longer to buy the high end parts. There are some cheap ass shit out there.
Do a lot of clearing rooms and pivoting round corners with your metal penis substitute, do you?
Only about 10,000 times....
I am going to start building my first AR. I bought a lower the other day and am planning on buying a component or two a month. anyone ever built one before? any tips?
You probably aren't gonna find many folks around here who actually know anything about firearms, just a bunch of liberals who are scared of guns.
One of my good friends builds ARs, he liked the 6.8 spc platform in the beginning, but now the .308 has become popular with him. He's turned the hobby into a small business, got a federal license to accept online transfers for people, builds ARs for people, and he's got a cerakote setup (not sure exactly on this one- I think that's the coating he went with).
He visits a few gun forums. Want me to ask what forums he uses?
Yeah, send the kids to live with their Mom.
Or teach them gun safety. A strange concept I know......
He was referring to "operator error". Got a class for that?
