a wonderful time, small ship, knowledgeable guides, incredible natural beauty
plus food on the ship was extraordinary

my first experience of canal locks on the Caledonian Canal which connects a number of the lochs.... so we had locks and lochs. Yes, we traveled Loch Ness, and No, no Nessie.

Scotland was just perfect with temps in the 50's through 70's. Way warmer and dryer than usual for them. Delightful for us. While the sky was often heavy and dark, we only had a couple of rain showers. I was in short sleeves most of the time, loving the wind and the scenery.
